Properly won't get it? You be careful, going out getting things improperly.

Is the 3D effect optional on this version? I wouldn't mind seeing it, but don't especially want to play the whole game that way...?

Yeah it's optional. And OP, you just beat me to listing this, it's rather a good deal :)

Sounds like someone who has watched The Polar Express 3D blu-ray! Glad to say you've seen it, would be happy to never have to go through that again

extra few quid? It's only 4p... and the difference is not just the 3d.... not to be missed.

The only other difference is some extra challenge maps, all of which can be downloaded separately, some of them for free.

Will the 3d effect work well (if at all) using HD component or VGA?

i heard any tv can use the 3D even SD but not 100 percent

Just spotted this when I went to check as I got the 'Monday Madness' email from Zavvi.

A little disappointed that I can't use the £1 off discount code they sent me but ordered anyway as still well worth it at this price imo.

I haven't got the normal version and have only played a pc demo so definitely looking forward to it.

I am 99% sure that all it does as add basic 3D to this and u get the cheap red and blue glasses, just like 3D DVD releases.

Any TV, standard or HD, will play it. I don't know if a 3D capable TV with proper 3D glasses makes it look better

Forgot to say, this will be below £15 within a month, same price drop pattern as other games of late

Very hot.
Well worth buying if you don't have the original, as there is not much in the price.
You can turn 3d off or on at anytime, through the pause menu. I hardly used it as 3d never seems to work on me. They just don't seem to cover both my eyes. There is a pic of me in my avatar, you'll see why.

Didn't rate this game at all, personally, but I'm well aware I'm in a minority on that.
Great price for a highly rated game so heat and rep from me.

I had the game and I expected more from 3D maybe because after the Avatar. I had a headache after 10 min so had to switch back to 2D but great deal if somebody likes it

it works on normal tellys and HD tellys and the effect looks alright, but by the end of the game i turned off the 3D and just wanted to finish the game (i was playing on hard too)

Worth it since you can double up on achievement points on this version, as well as the PC version and the GOTY PC version too.

It's a fantastic game, loads to do, lots of riddles to solve and places to explore as well as a great freeflow fighting system and the story is great too. If you're a fan of the comics then I imagine you couldn't be happier as the way they've tied so many characters into the main story, plus added loads of background collectable stuff for the other characters, it's really good.

The 3D is pretty disappointing though, it definitely adds something but it's not great, it doesn't exactly pop off the screen in front of you. I've been playing it over HDMI on a 720p projector, maybe in a darker room with a brighter display it might work well. You don't need a 3D TV, it's the old stereoscopic coloured glasses thing, so if anything I suspect it might work better on older TVs or displays that aren't so sharp!

GREAT game. BARGAIN.

was hoping this would work on the real 3D shades you get from cinema but it didn't (tested on a game play review on you tube)... I can just about watch a film wearing those, I can only imagine how annoying it will be with flimsy paper ones.

I think I should be given some sort of award for how good I am at missing these deals by a few minutes. Band Hero, this, Just Cause 2 not long ago. Back up to £24.95 now. I'll keep looking.
