Or if you have plenty of MS points laying around its only 740ms which is quite frankly a bargain considering some of the games you get for 800 on xbox live.

Little known fact too that if you have played this previously on the pc, but not the game of the year edition, you get new achievement points - both copies are detected as seperate games.

I have not come across these people before.
People are mentioning points etc.
Is this a normal PC copy?
Are they new or used.
Forgive my ignorance. Help needed.

It's a normal PC game which you download to your drive (similar to Steam).
You can also purchase it with Microsoft points (typically associated with the 360).

No physical copy then?

No, it's a download site from Microsoft.

great find, great price at 760 points or whatever it was. Not bad for the extra achievement points il just see if i can be bothered to play it for a fourth time.

Be careful when navigating the GFW site, as the regular edition is still there for the full £34.99 price with DLC sold seperately. There are no direct links from the standard edition to the GOTY edition, which is the £5.99 deal price.

Can someone confirm that the GOTY edition includes all of the DLC listed elsewhere on the GFW site?

this is the link from above
http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-GB/Games/Batman--AA-GOTY/

if you click that u end up on the correct page and from my understanding normaly a GOTY edition includes downloadable content

but i did start downloading at 7mb a sec now im down to a 1 meg so its very slow atm

from what i read the extra stuff isnt really anyything you will miss

P.S i just click the £29 one and it changed the price to £5.99

The pain of seeing new games must be excruciating... Admittedly I can only claim around 10 (or often less) are genuinely worth wasting your life playing each year.

not realy as you get in a roughly a 6-9 months behind cycle you dont miss it in fact your gaming experience is better as they have had 6 months to fix the bugs and patch normaly you get GOTY editions or the games are really cheap

as i buy all games roughly 6 months behind it dosent matter (steam sales are amazing for this roll on xmas)
its not like i am really waiting for anything but diablo 3 i bought from tescos already as i think ive waited long enough for that and that was £18 on pre order

but as a rule of thumb i try to wait
the difference is instead of being able to affored one game a month i can have about 4-5 a month
also you dont get the rubbish games as you have seen what people say in reviews about them so you can avoid them

currently i have a list of 10 or so games im waiting for
P.S its taken about 20 mins to unpack batman and its still at 50% so if you think nothing is happening it takes ages
