Better finish Arkham Asylum, cannot believe they are giving us Arkham City for free. If you have an Internet connected PS3 and you don't have PS+, there is something quite wrong with you.

Games expire when subscription ends. When you resubscribe the games will be active to play again.

Anlyngi, sorry not had no LBP2 issues.

I would so buy a PS+ membership with it's great free games and ability to store game saves online (I have 2 PS3s and it's a pain remembering to use usb to transfer around saves) but only one thing stops me... the fact I have now over 100 unplayed games in my cupboard!!!

For those people concerned about losing their free games when their subscription ends, think of it this way:

PSN is SO good that you're unlikely to end your subscription anytime soon anyway because for your £30 you get dozens of full retail games per year (many of them surprisingly good like Red Dead and now Arkham City) as well as countless smaller PSN titles. You save a fortune over the year and when I think about how much I spend a year on games the £30 is just a drop in the ocean for what you're actually getting.

Same here. 16gb for that crappy Ratchet & Clank game is a bit of a joke

I can probably predict all the future free stuff based on what I have already purchased before.

Limbo is great as is Vanqiush and I needed Batman back after I sold mine ages ago so its all good. Damn wait it's Arkham City. Got that needed Asylum.

That true Spark, perhaps as well with offering 2 of the best games on PS+ is might help boost the console sales. Afew PSOne classics for free wouldn't go a miss neither

Totally agree, the vita game catalogue is a little slim at the moment and they may struggle to find games for PS+ over the next few months..... but we cant complain as it's just an added incentive to the already brilliant PS3 service.

You can only play the free games whilst you're a subscriber. If you buy a game with a discount for Plus members then that's usually yours permanently. It says on each game's overview.

It's unbelievably good and definitely worth a full subscription. Particularly as you say your lads play the older games not new releases. And subscriptions stack so you could grab the £29.99 deal that's on here twice if you wanted.

Arkham City is brilliant and the first game that's come on Plus that I already own. Was hoping for Uncharted 2 or 3! Sony Santa must think I've been a bad boy this year!

By the way I was playing Renegade Ops last night (Plus freebie from couple of months ago), nobody online for co-op at all! Anyone else playing it?

Right... Those Xbox owners should get PSN for their Xbox instead of Xbox Live... Ok then.

Purchased PS+ subscription a few days ago for my vita and was thinking of getting Mortal Kombat but good job I didn't

Just a heads up for those who are after a PS+ subscription and don't mind collecting it from a local Tesco store. I ordered mine online from their site using the £10 off when you spend £40 code - TDX-RJMW, was able to collect the next day. Otherwise I think they charge £3 for standard delivery so it would be £33 if you want it delivered.

For those looking for a cheap way of getting PS+

For those that are looking for a cheap way of subscribing, I suggest … For those that are looking for a cheap way of subscribing, I suggest buying two £25 PSN network cards from the "For Sale/Trade" forum. There is a glut of them due to the Tesco Black Ops 2 offer. They are going for around £18 each, so £36 will give you a years subscrition, plus you will have £10 to spend on additional content at the store.I'm not sure if it has alrerady been mentioned, but you only lose the games you got for free on expiry of the subscrition. If you purchased anything with a discount, you get to keep it.I am not sure how it works for Vita users that haven't got a PS3 yet, but might in the future, but it may be possible to create a profile on a friends PS3, and purchase there, and then create a profile on your own PS3 when you get it. This is untested, but it may be an option.

I could be wrong but, we might not see anything for Vita until mid December as that's when it launched this month. Or possibly not until the new year.
Not sure if PS3 and Vita content will update at the same time.

How does this work if you have one psn account and two ps3s? If I already have the batman game, does this mean another family member can have the psn one and each have their own trophies and saves for the game or are the trophies set to one lot per game per psn account?
  36. Krat's avatar
Vanquish is a gorgeous looking game. I finished it on normal, might have a go at the harder modes now!

Bought PS+ a month ago and already feel like i've got my money back.

Arkham City is fantastic not sure I'll sell my physical copy 'cause I'm just a bit old school like that.
Vanquish is quite good, judging from the demo I played around it's original release date and everyone raves about Limbo.. since signing up to PSN+ a couple of months ago I've already got a heap of great games to work through!
