OK so might not be the ltd edition, but for those holding for supermarket deals (why I don't know) but this the best of them.
Get BF3 for PS3 or Xbox for £24.99 when bought with the Live points or the
PSN card.

Live points £17.99
PSN card £25

Price should be £42.99 not £25.
then there would be 2 different threads.
1 for the 360 and 1 for the PS3 and think you will find it's £24.99
He's not arguing with the title, he's arguing with the price field showing up as £24.99. The argument is you can't get anything for only £24.99. You can get the game and 2100 points for (let's say) £40 or you can get the game and £25 PSN card for (let's say) £43 but you can't get either for the £24.99 price being shown.

It's inevitable that MW3 will be mentioned. Heat added.

MW3! ....is not going to be as good....
Most normal folk will have pre-ordered this right? I booked mine in from Tesco months back for about £30. And i will buy MW3 as well, but not for a while, got BF3 and Skyrim to take care of first.

The Points cards are normally around £17/£19 aint they.

Still if you were planning on using points then a decent offer :)

15 quid usually. So effectively BF3 for 28 quid which is still a decent offer if you're after the points.

Seems like a bit of a stitch up for PS3 owners...

Them's the breaks and more bad new if anyone on ps3 was expecting it to include battlefield 1943 as promised.Hopefully EA will change their mind and give it as a free store download http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2011/10/26/battlefield-1943-missing-from-ps3-bf3/

Also supermarkets nearly always charge £17.99/ £18.99 for xbox 2100 live points . I've never seen them(non sale) @ £14.99 for supermarkets.

    confirmed, in todays paper.
Also advertised was Tesco doing it for £33 if you pre order MW3.
Game doing for £4.99 when trading in selected game Gears 3/forza 4/pro evo 2012
argos £39.99 with 800 free live points
    asda 37.47 or PS3 320gb with game for £229

Most stores will have been over-allocated stock of the Limited Edition version (pre-orders get priority), so if you're in early enough you can ask for the LE and they'll probably give it to you.

So price should be £42.98, not £24.99. Not a good deal really.

It wouldn't be if you were getting just the game, but you're effectively getting 2100 points for £3 too, which you could sell.

But the game can be got for about £33 from Tesco cant it, or less from asda. So effectively you're getting the points for over £10. Hardly worth the effort selling them on...

The Tesco deal's no good if you don't intend to buy MW3. As for Asda, this deal is cheaper on the whole, but a more expensive single transaction.

Personally I think the points for £3 is good, because I regularly need points. But regardless, I will be getting mine from Game because I want to be guaranteed my Limited Edition.
