OI! What about the PC? That's cheaper too. The game is a PC game and I cannot wait for this.

BF2 was awesome (still is), 2142 was great, BC2 was pretty much arcade BF, but the daddy is coming back. Consoles should just keep CoD (Spray and Pray game that it is) and BF for PC. But ofc that makes no financial sense, so we fair game.

    CANNOT WAIT! - HEAT ADDED.

What if you didn't die and merely fell into a coma for 5 months and awoke on release day to find you had to pop into town and possibly pay a few pounds more? Forward planning my friend.

You'll probably hear more about the beta during E3. I'm guessing it'll be around September/October time.

i wouldnt bother - they did this deal with LA Noire and then sold it for £25 on release if you bought another game. these games always get good deals but not until the day of release. it is probably worth waiting on preordering, it might not be worth the 2 days play if you can save a tenner.

then again, it might if the limited stuff is worth it. but im not a MP guy so if its MP stuff then i dont care.

don't pre-order a game from tesco if you want it delivered on its release date as you probably won't get it till the next day. waiting 24 hours is kind of a big deal when all your mates are playing it already!

Last time I pre-ordered from Tesco (for Red Dead Redemption) I got it a day early. So other people had to wait 24 hours

Tesco have a terrible delivery service(2 orders cancelled, Homefront was delivered a day late and dirt 3 didnt arrive until friday) I would much rather pay that bit extra from game or shop-to as they both deliver the day before release on most major titles! But thats just my experiance with them, Horses for courses I suppose.
  21. deleted30901's avatar
Yeah save your money in your own account. 34 quid is hardly ground breaking. it'll be 37 at Asda anyway no doubt. 5 months is way too far ahead to be scrambling for this game, although it will no doubt be the best game ever (still playing bad company 2 on 360 every day!)

Hot! This will be the best FPS game this year without a doubt.

Anybody who thinks CoD4's latest map pack will be better is kidding themselves.

so you paid £2 less, but don't get the 4 extra maps which will probably go for £7-8 on Xbox live.

Agree with you,Ive ordered Black Ops from Tesco in August last year and the game was late 24h on its release day(after 3 months of pre-order)
I will never use them again for pre-orders.

Pre-order it from anywhere and you get the 4 extra maps. Any game bought before release day is the Limited Edition. Any game bought on or after release day is Standard Edition.

I'm sitting pretty with the PC version pre-ordered for £15 from the EA Store X)

Tesco are a bit sporadic when it comes to delivery on release day (from my experience anyway). I got Black Ops 2 days later than release and but got Red Dead Redemption a day earlier than release...looks like they send the good games out early! X)

Haven't played any of the BF games yet, but I've noticed Gamestation have BC2 UE for £21, and give £20 trade in for it, so going to give that a crack before I consider this one.

Hey have EA charged you the £15 yet? I'm surprised they didn't take my money straight away.

Bide your time oh anxious ones, it'll be cheaper still before release.

    Fools and their money........................
  35. soltakr's avatar
hmmm tempting but for my money rather go to game/gamestation, cashback plus any points you have plus the fact they do the maps PLUS unlocked guns from the start.

    so far preordered from game.

I don't get all the "I must have all the guns unlocked from the start" isn't part of the game unlocking them?

I think the only early unlock offer is through Game and Gamestop, and that comes with "unique" extras which aren't unlocks (although will probably be DLC later) The Strike expansion is a nod to BF2 and for the BF community it'll hopefully bring back very fond memories of clan matches (which I very much miss, any ThreeWiseMonkies out there?!?)
  38. soltakr's avatar
thanks for spacemunkey for clearing that up. prob confused ppl saying they are unlocks, they are exclusive extras only Game/Gamestation do. with quidco and £5 game itll cost me less than this deal but only cause i have that £5 in Game points.

(*off topic* atleast they arent weapons all games retailers have but have paint jobs making them different ala racing games with same cars but diff paint schemes, now thats not worth paying extra for)

game/gamestation offer extras no one else wil do so in one persons eye that could mean something more than saving 5er or so.

couldnt copy and paste but exclusives are
    type 88 lmg with bipod
    flechette ammo for dao-12 sotgun
    flash suppressor for sks sniper
    and dao-12 shotgun

every other retailer is only doing the maps, so up to you.

i say preorder it and see what the local supermarkets will do, you can always cancel it if you want. hopefully before it gets shipped. best bet is to ask manager of MVG in store or check newspapers.

And? It's £27.79 With the code listed here. So what's you point? - £29.99 is not cheaper than £27.79 (plus 8% quidco on top) and that's what this site is all about right?
