BF2 was awesome (still is), 2142 was great, BC2 was pretty much arcade BF, but the daddy is coming back. Consoles should just keep CoD (Spray and Pray game that it is) and BF for PC. But ofc that makes no financial sense, so we fair game.
CANNOT WAIT! - HEAT ADDED.

What if you didn't die and merely fell into a coma for 5 months and awoke on release day to find you had to pop into town and possibly pay a few pounds more? Forward planning my friend.
You'll probably hear more about the beta during E3. I'm guessing it'll be around September/October time.
then again, it might if the limited stuff is worth it. but im not a MP guy so if its MP stuff then i dont care.
agree bf2 was awesome online, proper sniper rifles
I pre-ordered LA Noire from Tesco and got it the day before release day, as I did with Homefront.
Thats the pc version

Anybody who thinks CoD4's latest map pack will be better is kidding themselves.

so you paid £2 less, but don't get the 4 extra maps which will probably go for £7-8 on Xbox live.
Agree with you,Ive ordered Black Ops from Tesco in August last year and the game was late 24h on its release day(after 3 months of pre-order)
I will never use them again for pre-orders.

Pre-order it from anywhere and you get the 4 extra maps. Any game bought before release day is the Limited Edition. Any game bought on or after release day is Standard Edition.
I'm sitting pretty with the PC version pre-ordered for £15 from the EA Store X)
No its the limited edition you get all the maps
Hey have EA charged you the £15 yet? I'm surprised they didn't take my money straight away.
Fools and their money........................
so far preordered from game.

Anyway, looking forward to this
I think the only early unlock offer is through Game and Gamestop, and that comes with "unique" extras which aren't unlocks (although will probably be DLC later) The Strike expansion is a nod to BF2 and for the BF community it'll hopefully bring back very fond memories of clan matches (which I very much miss, any ThreeWiseMonkies out there?!?)
(*off topic* atleast they arent weapons all games retailers have but have paint jobs making them different ala racing games with same cars but diff paint schemes, now thats not worth paying extra for)
game/gamestation offer extras no one else wil do so in one persons eye that could mean something more than saving 5er or so.
couldnt copy and paste but exclusives are
type 88 lmg with bipod
flechette ammo for dao-12 sotgun
flash suppressor for sks sniper
and dao-12 shotgun
every other retailer is only doing the maps, so up to you.
i say preorder it and see what the local supermarkets will do, you can always cancel it if you want. hopefully before it gets shipped. best bet is to ask manager of MVG in store or check newspapers.

And? It's £27.79 With the code listed here. So what's you point? - £29.99 is not cheaper than £27.79 (plus 8% quidco on top) and that's what this site is all about right?
