Clearly not as good as the £19.99 deal a few days ago (definitely not at the £14.99 I paid for it). But I though I'd share this for people wanting to save a bit more than the £4 off the EAStore code gives you now.

Battlefield 3 leaps ahead of the competition with the power of Frostbite 2, the next installment of DICE's cutting-edge game engine. This state-of-the-art technology is the foundation on which Battlefield 3 is built, delivering superior visual quality, a grand sense of scale, massive destruction, dynamic audio and incredibly lifelike character animations. As bullets whiz by, walls crumble, and explosions throw you to the ground, the battlefield feels more alive and interactive than ever before. In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where they will experience heart-pounding single player missions and competitive multiplayer actions ranging across diverse locations from around the globe including Europe, Middle-East and North America.

- Buy cokezone account with 250 points on it. (~£12.50 on ebay)
- Redeem points for EA discount code.
- Use EA discount code to get BF3 on the EA store for free.

This doesn't work for pre-orders, but then why does anyone pre-order games anyway?! (unless there is a glitch/massive discount)
Just wait until day of release & it'll work find. (No problems waiting as the cokezone/EA promotion is set to run until 2012/03/01).

Well if you got that many points I say go for it. It's all about saving money in the end. But as of right now I believe this is the cheapest way of getting it pre-ordered.

you said it yourself its about saving money.
how is 12.50 more than 26.21?
you dont need to preorder if get it on day of release.
12.50 gets you the cokepoints - you dont ened to have any of your own.

I've just checked eBay for these points and none are on sale (pass me a link, because I could probably get a few games that way myself). If you can buy these points on a consistent basis, go for it. But I very much doubt there's hundreds of the accounts up for sale on eBay, therefore that "deal" isn't available to everybody out there.

I really don't get how this is getting cold, in favour of a deal which relies on eBay auctions for one.

seems that they are not as common as suggested you are right
one auction i can see
320690186170
41.25 + for over 700 points so atm around 15 quid a game
not a single game purchase like this deal though

edit: looks like 10+ auctions of various sizes over past week though

Well I didn't vote your deal down, and given that my suggestion is a slightly more faff/higher risk alternative I'd hope others shouldn't either as they aren't like-for-like.

Still, £26 doesn't seem a particularly special price for a PC pre-order; there are many months before release so I would expect a better deal/voucher glitch to appear between now & then.
