Very easy to put 100+ hours into this, go back to it a month later and it still feels fresh.
Some sale that is turning out to be by the way, 1 retail game every 4 days - I'd personally hoped they'd concentrate on more psn titles or dlc as that's all I really buy from the store. 10-20 gig installs really aren't my cuppa.
I'd love it if they somehow managed to discount the Batman DLC and Driver: San Fran at around £7.99 each.

The input lag was so painfully bad that I wound up buying a cheap Xbox to play it from the comfort of my couch (which is also a horrible version, but no input lag).

The last patch fixed the input lag, but now I'm having to get use to it again but it is better without the input lag.
Also why haven't they fixed the squad problem where you try to go into a game with your friends but end up in different squads and even in different teams. How can a squad based game not fix this by now.
Great game otherwise though :)
Is this true? I'm tempted to get this but this is a concern.
Thanks

I've killed many an admin only for them to admin kill me, it happens - lots of people running servers with their own childish little rules as well (some people need to realise this isn't Minecraft its Battlefield) i.e. don't use this gun, don't use that gun, don't use claymores, don't steal enemy vehicles whilst there repairing. I think its something DICE themselves need to address as on RANKED servers stuff like that shouldn't really be in existence, in my opinion all of the above should be reserved for social matchmaking or player matches. It makes a complete mockery of stats, ranks, some clans as well.
In regards to 5000 tickets, yeah I've played on these servers as well - most of them are clearly listed as 5000 tickets, most focus on just one map and the idea behind them is playing sustained long drawn out battles on a single map.
There are DICE servers, they just tend to get lost I find in amongst the private servers - if you refine your settings when browsing for servers you'll find them and then you can favourite them but honestly there are good private servers out there just keep looking and keep moving on from poorly maintained private servers with over aggressive admins that can't even win on their own servers.
I'd say fire in and pick it up, don't be put off by any over negativity which you may read. :)

Is this the case for xbox 360 as well ?
What's really needed is the option to rep servers - im guessing over aggressive admins would change their tune once they found their paid for servers unused at the bottom of the server browser.

Just been looking up admin abuse on google. EA are such a ******* **** company anyways. I've not used my Online pass for this game & I won't be buying any other DICE developed game (frostbite xxx) or EA Game unless it's below £10 from now on.
It's 'only' on three platforms and it's very active on all of them. I completely disagree with your developer comments though, the very fact that it took them months after release to actually get the PS3 version of the game working correctly shows that they either don't take the platform - or their game - seriously. The DICE/EA servers being replaced by privately-rented ones with power-crazy admins was the last straw for me.
It's a shame Bad Company 2 has virtually no active playerbase now (or at least, no servers to play it on thanks to EA), it was a far superior game in many respects.
