No idea if a misprice but a bargain

The Battlefield name means ‘action’ to millions of players worldwide, and Battlefield 3 just ramps up the intensity. How? It’s all about choice.

The sheer number of options available to you on the field of combat is astounding. The four player classes—Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon—each have their specialties, and learning how these work with each other is the key to victory. Like taking the heat? Play Assault, and revive your fallen teammates on the front line. Prefer the distance of a sniper? Take the long view as Recon and neutralize the enemy threat before it appears. However you like to play, there’s something here for you.

Better than 4, not as good as Bad Company 2, but brilliant price.

Heat added.

Plenty of servers still up and arguably a better game than 4. Objectively less broken at least.

It will never be fixed completely, but it is now very playable, and enjoyable. I'd go for 4 over 3 now and that is saying something...

The old EA would just have jammed it up your nose. Congratulations to the new friendly EA for having avoided being voted the 'Worst Company in America' for the third consecutive year.

I've played over 100 hours of BF3 and over 10 on BF4.
Neither are broken or bug ridden.

Where did EA manage to rise to ? ...second last ? after a quick search I see Ticketmaster are nominated .I'd vote for them scumbags just based on the 'administration' charges we all have to pay .

what's broken in 4? I'm playing 3 and 4

- Map designs are much worse than what they were in 3 (emphasis on eye candy and not on gameplay balance)
- progression of unlockables way longer than in 3 to encourage people that cannot play 6 hours a day (or do not care) to pay more in micro transactions/unlocks
- games handles like ass in computers that can play BF3 on high settings.
- still lots of exploits that need to be fixed

I tried when it came out (when I bought it) and I tried again when the recent expansions where released and it still a bad game.
I still prefer to play 3 or BC2

I have 1200 hours in bf3 and 200 in bf4.
Bf3 isn't broken, it has bugs but it's not broken and is still utterly fantastic to the point I am jealous of those playing it for the first time.

But bf4 has some very big issues still. And some objectively broken aspects. EG you can die after a round ends and there is nothing you can do. Dogtags still do not track stats. Large pieces of cover completely disappear at a distance.

There are many more things thank can be argued as being broken.

I can't help but feel this is a marketing ploy to try and get people to buy premium at full price at a higher price ;) But still, great price for an older but equally great game. Just a shame I'm awful at vehicle heavy maps so refuse to play most times haha

I use a Microsoft 360 pad (PC specific) for Battlefield nowadays. I'll never be the best online as keyboard and mouse will always be slightly better but it has made the whole game a LOT easier. Especially driving and flying.

Almost always use my trusty 360 pad as I prefer the wireless and at heart, will always be a console gamer xD No matter what people say, Keyboard and Mouse is not better if you can't use it properly to begin with - and I fall cleanly into the can't use properly category. Its just something about vehicle combat that doesn't suit me. I owed 3 and premium on 360 since release and while I had fun, nothing beat the Close Quarters DLC. Just something about pulling consistent 15k+ point game was so much more satisfying to me than the main battlefield big battle experience, although its not as bad as the games are bigger on PC. Again though, can't argue for that price, its practically free in the grand scheme of things and it is hands down one of the better FPS games out there for online play!

Wow, an incredible game for pennies.

Great bargain. But I don't know. I loved Bad Company 2. I play with randoms, no mic, and it was very team based (Like Planetside 2) and end up playing many rounds with the same randoms and sticking with them as part of the team. However when I played BF 3 (Xbox) that team work started to go and it was the rise of the Lone Wolf K/D 'dick'. Sooooo I don't know if it is like that on PC?
