B Company returns to the battlefield in this destructive sequel that places more emphasis on the series trademark multiplayer.
The original Bad Company was a dramatic departure for EAs Battlefield series, moving away from the multiplayer the series was known for in favour of a more single player-focused affair. Although Bad Company 2 sees Preston and the rest of B Company back on the front lines in a fully-fledged solo campaign, Battlefields multiplayer now takes centre stage, with on-foot and vehicular combat across eight sandbox maps.
Bad Companys defining feature was its impressive tactical destruction. Returning in Bad Company 2, players can now destroy entire buildings and flatten each environment to the ground. This opens up a host of strategic options, as players can blast through walls to create gun points or blow up buildings to flank hidden enemies. As well as more expansive multiplayer modes, players can also compete in smaller four-man teams thanks to the squad-only game modes on offer.
Battlefield Bad Company 2 brings the Battlefield series back to its multiplayer roots, its tactical destruction now allowing for a whole new level of chaos on the battlefield.
