good price

seen the normal edition at an avg price of £25

so this is a great price and your getting a £9.99 game for £2

someone explain the cold votes - I too thought it was a decent deal for a game that has held it's price around £25 for a while now; especially with the added content in this one

I think people are just on a cold vote mission today. My £4 Legendary PS3 game was voted cold by a fair few people till sensible people saw fit to vote otherwise.

"VIP code - allowing for download of all VIP map packs released, 12 in total as of next week's release of map pack 6" - These are only unlock codes which anyone who purchases the original will get for free, as long as the game is bought new.

Onslaught mode is the only thing which actually adds any value to this "ultimate edition", and then that was overpriced. I played it a couple of times and havent touched it since.

I' not voting either way cos technically its a good deal, its just not a "good deal".

I don't buy EA games, mainly due to the fact they can't make games. ON the rare occasion they do show any signs of talent or originalty this is the result.

I do enjoy this game but the gameplay is terribly flawed and buggy. The lag (no where near as bad as MW2) is understandable I suppose do to everthing that is going on, but really it should be addressed.

Weapons poking through walls, etc. Mortar strike can be problematic (sometimes if a leaf blows infont just as the strike is authorised it will target that location - LOL - suicide)

EA left out co-op, then decided to charge far to much for it when they released it (and it's not co-op accross the full game either, it's selected maps)

The online portion of the game is typical of EA. If you don't own the game from new (or lose your code) expect to pay for your map packs.

The map packs aren't actually maps the are new modes on old maps, which should have also been there originally.

Finally the worst thing I think is the team imbalance, one minute you can be part of a huge or very experienced squad, the next it's you against 15.

Screen burn? Why not change the in game brightness / contrast... or to play without HUD try the Hardcore modes (Rush or Conquest).

thanx banzai am not into online game :( the kids kick my ass ! just campaign

EA get right on my nerves. Forcing people to buy new for VIP codes and free maps when all we get is existing maps in new game modes. I'm not voting either way because just after this is released we will be seeing the large Vietnam DLC so that's more expense.

Editions like these should not be released until we've seen all the DLC.

Got this order for about £26.39 with Quidco and a £1 voucher taking more off :)
Been waiting a long time to play these games (I still played the previous Bad Company game up until now, which is still a really good game).

A demonstration of the organic nature in which "hot" deals are voted?

You are seriously missing out. The online is fantastic. Even if you aren't "leet", you can usually fulfill a role within your team and make a large difference, unlike other games (MW2 say).
