This is apparently a sort of "Middle East Advance Wars" - you move units around on the bottom screen in turn-based mode and then watch vids of them clashing. There's also something to do with special cards, I'm not too clear on that. The price is decent if you're into these types of strategies, in my opinion. Just don't go in expecting *anything* like the Prince of Persia games you're used to. This really is for the strategy gamer crowd, and even better if you're used to the old strategy boardgames, as that's what the map resembles.

One Man's Fate. An Empire's Destiny. Follow the Prince on his harrowing journey in this Prince of Persia story that has never been told before. Lead your army through untold wars and become a master of the battlefield. Play as one of nine generals and command the mighty armies of ancient Persia, India or Aresura.
Beat impossible odds on the battlefield by collecting, purchasing and strategically trading more than 200 cards. Test new tactics when you challenge friends in two fully customisable multiplayer Versus modes.

2 out of 3 Amazon 'reviewers' didn't think much of it though!

lol ^^ Yea, the pictures don't look great (from what I've seen on a few sites). But it may be ok for a DS game. Averagely good offer, I think its price like this for a reason though... (Thanks for the heads up anyway - might make a good gift for someone)

too cheap to be true.

The last time I saw a deal posted on here about Seaga Rally PS3 realy cheap (can't remember how much now) on Amazon, I made the purchase etc, but Amazon just refunded my account - no e-mail/explanation etc... But it was likely simply because Amazon made a pricing error - and didn't fulfil the purchase...

They did send out Sega rally in many cases - was playing mine this weekend ;)

This is a no-brainer if u have prime as trade in value at gamestation probably more

Yep ordered 6 Sega Rally @ £15.96 kept 1 sold the rest on eBay @ £25 each, so actually got a Sega Rally for free plus change!

As for Prince of Persia I have spotted this in several places for about the same price £5.00 not bad for the money but just check on trade in values before buying in bulk!

This was in-store at Toys R Us for £5 a month or two a go. Really good game if you like your turn-based strategy. You'll definitely get more than a week's play out of it.

Then do what I did and trade it in for £4 (credit, not cash) on the high street. That worked out to be a pound well spent.

Just to point out, 2 of those bad reviews are by the same person posted two days apart. The fact that he felt compelled to put another comment 2 days later suggests he didn't actually put it down, and kept playing it for an extra two days, so maybe it's not so bad after all?...

I was actually surprised as to the "trade-in" direction the thread had taken, I'm glad we're getting back to the actual game.
I've seen videos of this and I'm pretty sure it's a good enough game for the price, it's just of limited appeal and that's why it scores across the board (ie very good or very bad) on the reader reviews I've checked. I say all the better, I'm not really big on "games" like Nintendogs that everyone loves, so I'm glad to be able to pick up a decent strategy for cheap because it's not for everyone.

Now if only I could figure out a way to get people to hate Mario DS games... :whistling:

this game is ok, but not great. It's not a platform game as you might expect from the Prince of Persia franchise, it's a card-based strategy game. Ok if you like that sort of thing, but not a good example of its genre.

Reviews of this one are really mixed, from 40% up to 85%. But at this price, could well be worth a try.
