The entire Series (Well, as far as I can tell) is available in HD on Netflix (US) :D
    Just saying

You can even use a free VPN service as you don't have to remain connected after the initial load of every episode (Save your VPN bandwidth)

With regards to Netflix, I am yet to see any example of a streaming service, bar Zune on the 360, deliver 1080p quality, even then the 1080p on Zune doesnt look as good as the equivalent disc version, not to mention that most of us employed people are going to need about 4 months to watch this, so I think for the little extra Ill get a boxset that I can get rid of if I want, hot price :D This also has Razor and the mini series on. Not seen this go sub £50 for ages so this is close enough.

    Fair enough
Just pointed it out as I know a lot of users here have (or have had) access to Netflix anyway :)

I'm not sure about the quality though.. I mean; CG and Anime both scale perfectly at 1080p whereas most films / series may as well be in 720p (With quite a few exceptions)
As far as the quality on Netflix.. Errrr.. Without something to compare it to it's hard to say. There is a lot of film grain at times though which tends to degrade the quality. As far as I can tell it's BSG :|
No obvious artifacting in the HD stream

Still loving re-watching the series. I've never seen the bonus episodes either! X)

Edit: Just watched a few 1080p trailers from the boxset and the grain is still present.

Season 2 was great; rest was hit & miss.
Ending was definitely a let down, but the whole Iraq occupation scenario was interesting.

Why did they have to start going down some stupid spiritual route with the show?

Just watched the whole thing again on DVD but will be buying this at some point.

I do wonder why you are bothering posting in a thread about a tv show you know you aren't interested in.

Just wanted to point out, that while it's a great set, when it says "The Complete Series (including movies)" it does not include the Plan. Still, like the OP said, this is a great price for this set- I too paid quite a bit more for it. Well worth it, just bear in mind that you'll have to buy "The Plan" separately :).

It seems your in the minority as a quick check on IMBD shows it has won 3 Emmys 22 other awards and 59 nominations with a score of 8.8/10 from 96 critics you really have confirmed your status of idiot, congrats.

    FYI http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407362/

It would also seem your as welcome in this thread as the other one you stalked me in...
