Good deal but even though the show was awesome in it's day I find it far too melodramatic to sit through anymore.

True, but without the melodrama the impact of moments such as the Adama Manoeuvre would be muted. A few hours of dark intrigue pays off when hearing Olmos announce 'All hands, brace for turbulence' and knowing the crafty old fox is about to unleash hell

Oh yes and as this is a BSG thread - "So say we all!"

Doesn't Include "The Plan"

I'm hoping one day fr a set that has all that, The Plan, Blood & Chrome and Caprica all in one box.

Fracking great price for the best long running sci fi series ever.

I don't do physical media myself but if I did I'd be all over this. Heat.

They already have done that - its got the old series too. Double the price of this though at its cheapest.

Great series. It has a couple of dud episodes (that boxing extended episode...jeez!) but its great on the whole.

Indeed...

I've actually just watched it through back to back again, finished a few weeks ago. Whilst both series have their black sheep (universe & blood & chrome), I preferred the darker tone of BSG overall, although there's no way it would have been as appealing over as long a period as stargate was with its lighter tone & ability to mock itself & other sci fi so often.

I bought this last time it was cheap on Zoom. Watched it all and then started again from the beginning. Currently coming to the end of season 2. It takes on new meaning when you understand who Head Baltar and Head 6 are. So say we all!
