I wanted to get the new season of Battlestar Galactica and noticed it was £37.99 at play, I had a look on the site found the complete DVD collection for £52.99 but found the £5 off £50 Promotion code which was listed by edi on forum.

Used the code to bring the price down to £47.99 which has been confirmed before the order process is complete.

Also go thought Quidco and get around £2 off.

I was going to post the episode list but don't want to spoil any surprises

£44.04 at the hut..with the oct10 code...plus 5% quidco

This has been hovering at £48.93 for weeks - I hadn't thought to use the £5 play voucher to save a quid.
This complete boxset (season 1-3 and mini-series) is fantastic value if you haven't got the earlier sets already.

I seen that before going for the Play.com deal.

If your willing to wait 2-4 weeks for delivery then go ahead

Still prefer the origonal series when Starbuck was a fella, but it does seem like a good deal if this one's your basket of whelks!

I don't suppose anyone knows when... Or if, the second part of the old series is going to be released... The one where they get to good old planet earth?!?

It's due for release on Region 1 on 26th December - I don't know about a UK release; find-dvd shows pre-order prices from £13.16 delivered on Region 1.

It's due to be released in America on 26/12/2007. No idea about a UK release date.

Amazon price £52.49 so really it's the £5 voucher that makes this hot but if I didn't already have all 3 series in HD I'd be tempted. Good find OP :)

Thanks to geoneo123, wombat6025, & nightswimmer for the pointers. Will try to show patience and wait for the R2, but might just crack under the pressure and buy a multi region DVD player!:whistling:
