£117.39 @ Amazon
Not really much information at the minute, but the price seems cheap, especially when looking at the price in the US.

I would would love to watch this, so it's hot. But the price is cold.

i think its hot due to the fact that it works out about just under £30 per series. which when you look at other series you can be charged £40 and up at least.

I only vote hot for £10 per season. This is Blue Ray so £15 per season would have made it hot.

The actual price boils down to £23.50 per Season, hence no hot vote from me. It's still a good price, just not hot IMO.

I love BSG but not at £117

Can't really see the deal, this will just be the normal price at release....

As much as I like HD, I've recently bought them all on DVD even though I knew it was coming out on Blu Ray, so much cheaper, and for the mini series in particular which was deliberately grainy, there's not so much benefit in HD as there would be in something such as say Lost.

Blu-ray might expect a premium - but the nearly complete boxset was only £35 or so the other day on DVD - plus until we have more detail can we be sure this will include the yet to be released films? Way to early to call this hot.

As much as I love BSG no way I am spending £117 not even for Blu-ray, two big reasons:

1. I already seen BSG so I know that I would not spend another 50+hours watching it again Blu-ray, or whatever.
2. If I really wanted to watch it again I would get the DVD version I believe you can get the whole lot for £27 or £30 (except the last 10 episodes of the last season).

So don't think so too many good series out there to throw away my money in this. In my opinion save your money and buy something you have not seen yet. (i.e. CAPRICA the first episode or episode 0 was superb, shame we have to wait over a year to watch the next one)

i bet this will look stunning

does it have the last half of the last season or are they releasing that in a seperat box set in 6 months for the same price

You've got that spot on, i've got season one on HD DVD and watched later episodes on Sky HD, apart from the few scenes where they shot in daylight, it's not the best advert for HD.

The Blu-Ray box set doesn't include The Plan according to wikipedia.
