its a £199.99p ! As long as it works and the picture is half decent it's a deal ! No doubt we will have the "but it's only got 7 hdmi sockets brigade explaining that their tv that they paid £9000 for is better cos it's got 8" commenting on why they voted cold !

One of the reviews X)

The picture is upside down! The picture it's self seems great but lags so bad, especially on ps4.

I would have thought after realising it's upside down, the PS4 lag would be irrelevant!

The brand name sounds German, but hopefully it's not as bad as that.

German things work. End of.

People see "4K" and "£199" and lose their minds. I've seen some of the reviews and they're absolute junk.

Don't scrimp on shoes, beds or tv's because we spend a third of our lives using one or the other.

Amazing price, however reviews are shocking.

https://www.aldi.co.uk/p/71056/0

Main issues seem to be bad lip syncing and apps that are installed are useless.
The Aldi website says it is not in stock however the stores may still have them in.

Still - £200. Even if you get a faulty one, it is still worth the risk of having to go back for a full refund.

Might not be in stock due to the fact only released on Oct 20th...

Reviews are off putting. It's cheap but so are turd sandwiches.

£200 is still a good amount of money and definitely worth some research before spending it. I can't comment on the TV, but I would rather spend double or even triple that amount for a TV that is known for having a long life expectancy (reliable) and that you won't regret having bought. It's your money, but make sure you don't regret spending it on something that doesn't pay off in the future ;)

Presumably it is a 2015 Vestel re-badge (look like the standard non-modified Vestel 2015 feet on it?).

I don't understand the flippant attitude in the comments towards people who do the legwork for people like myself in explaining whether or not a tv deal is worth the money or not.

In this case they probably won't contribute as it doesn't take a genius to work out that a £200 "4k" tv from Aldi won't be any good whatsoever.

Got to love the snobbery.

Like pretty much any 4k TV of the year that it was made, you won't get the full benefit of the limited amount of 4k content unless you sit 3 feet from it but the same is true of something costing 3 times as much with a more well known badge on it.

But for a 48" set, once you play around long enough with the settings it will display a perfectly adequate picture for most content and on a big screen.

So for the price, it will do the job that most people will expect itto.
#39
Crazy price. Probably doesn't have the fancy bells and whistles more pricier brands offer but if it displays 4K on a 48" screen then that's a bargain.
