Gosh, sounds very reasonable for the size, the 5 yr parts and 1 yr labour guarantee and the fact that it is frost free. Voted hot. To previous poster, you may wish to check Which for brand (Hotpoint) reliability. Here's is their review for the Baumatic:-

This Baumatic BF272 fridge freezer performed acceptably in our tests without excelling in any area.

The manufacturer’s recommended settings leave the freezer too warm, so the thermostat will need to be adjusted until you find the best level. However, at the optimum freezer setting, parts of the fridge become frozen.

The fridge doesn’t cool as our Best Buys, and there’s a 3°C difference between the top and bottom shelves, so when the top and middle shelves are cool enough, the bottom one is frozen.

The fridge and freezer aren’t as stable to external temperature variation as they could be – the freezer gets too warm if room temperature drops to 10°C. This could be a problem if you keep the fridge-freezer in an unheated utility room, for instance.

The freezer is quite well insulated and will keep food safely frozen for 23 hours if there’s a power cut, but it’s feeble when freezing fresh food, and takes 24 hours to freeze a paltry 1.5kg. This is really poor for a freezer of this size.

The BF272 is frost-free, and comes in two colours, silver (BF272SL) and white (BF272W).

Pros: Frost free

Cons: Poor freezing power, freezer warms up if room temperature is too cold

Thanks for your research. I was looking for a spare for the garage. Thought this was just the job, but have decided perhaps not. Still a good price though, if you want one for the house.

Not a recommended brand. Baumatic are renown for premature breakdowns. You have made the right choice not to be sucked in by the extremely low price.
