Not quite as good but Wilkinsons also have 5KG and 10KG bags of BBQ Charcoal half price at £1.50 and £2.75 respectively.

Good price, voted hot but what's everyone gonna use them for? Throw them on the barbie to keep warm this "summer"? :-D

The 4 pack of instant lighting charcoal is also reduced from £3.99 to £1.99, bought some last week and there were loads left there, too

HOT

I just bought a 4KG bag marked down in the Woolworths sale for £2 - and completely irrelevantly - a DAB radio that does not work once home.

I just felt annoyed and wanted to complain!!!

You can tell summers just about over! :whistling:

When did it start? Is this lumpwood or briquettes as I need to use briquettes on my BBQ.?

They are Briquettes.

I don't know when it started, but i spotted it in Guildford Central store on Tuesday and Burpham (bigger store in guildford) on Friday & Saturday. Also spotted it in another store too, so i guess its widely available and well stocked from what i've seen.

Lumpwood is far superior then the briquettes, and summer what summer?

Bought a new barby this year used it once and its allready starting to rust :x

I haven't yet used the bag I bought LAST autumn.
Not opened the bag I bought this spring-
should I be REALLY optimistic and stockpile the stuff?:?

I think mikmak1 was referring to this year's summer rather than the availability of the cheap briquettes...
