PLease tell, as I'm just an hour ago from our local tesco, saw these but werent at 10p!!! Cheers
#5
Also none of the Heinz beanz for £3 or the KTC chopped toms so a bit disappointed.
#6
Chorizo can be a bit of an acquired taste, hot I guess if you like them, but I guess these weren't hugely popular.

Are they out of date?

didnt look

i doubt it, dont supermarkets normally chuck out of date stuff or put a reduced sticker on it if its just about to go out of date?

these were still in the freezer section with a 10p price (not a reduced sticker price)

Frozen chorizo?

It's usually pasteurised and protective atmosphere so doesn't even need the fridge.

Makes a lovely chilli if you hack it up into lumps.
#17
got two of the people in my office to go out and get me 4 packs haha, I realised we do have a freezer compartment in our fridge good times! 40p and there are 6 sausages in each pack yum yum

What are basa fillets?

I had these last "summer", they were cooked to perfection, and chucked straight in the bin, we also bought those spiral bbq sausages tesco do, they were just as bad. seriously, buy a 10p chomp instead!
#20
Yes these are truly disgusting, and really not worth 10p, definitely go with the chomp!! I bought them when they were 50p a pack. To be honest I wouldn't even say they were slightly chorizo "style". I f you like chorizo, you will be deeply disappointed, if you like sausages you will be deeply disappointed. This is seriously bad food, and I'm honestly not that fussy...

"Chorizo Style" LOL. Probably their normal poor quality sausages with a load of paprika thrown in. Alright for people with no taste buds or don't give a sh1t what their eating or are skint/tight, but not for me. I can see families in council houses up and down the country loving these thinking they are eating something exotic. Full of gristle and all the rest of it, for that reason, I'm out.

If these taste anywhere near as bad as the lamb & beef kebabs pack (BBQ range like these) they had reduced to a £1 a box the other day, then they just ain't worth buying even @ 10p.We ended up having Salad Pitta's, as they were so gross, and the amount of fat that drained out of them on the grill was unbelieveable, so I dread to think what things like this are actually made of, especially when it says Chorizo 'style'.It looks to me as if most of Tesco's BBQ range, was either crap quality, or very unpopular (probably because of the quality) as most of it has been reduced at some time or other.
I used to shop at Tesco a lot, but now find most of time I prefer Morrisons, because I found a lot of Tesco's food to be poor quality / tasting, no matter what the price.Still a deal is a deal, and I can't argue with the price, 10p is very cheap, but I won't vote either way, as to be fair, although it is cheap, I haven't tasted them, and judging by some of the comments, my fears about them tasting rubbish appear to be confirmed.

I bought 2 packs when they were 50p/pack. Cooked 1 pack and they were inedible. The 2nd pack is still floating around in the freezer waiting to be chucked out.

They are 'Chorizo style' and have no chorizo in them at all, only a very vague spicy flavour and very poor quality, hot dog style paste as filling.
