So there won't be any left for anyone else:x selfish:x

yeah they should sell the whole lot for £3, not each for 50p.

Voting cold.

Sorry, I don't often do it, but it's the sausages.

If you're buying it for the other stuff, this would be hot. I'm sure the chicken is fine and the burgers are probably passable. I'm no food snob by any means but last time I bought the sausages (when they were on the 50p deal) I was blown away by just how much fat was in them. All sausages are fatty but seriously, these were a joke. I couldn't bring myself to eat more than half of one, and it didn't even taste nice to compensate.

Oh crap - Just read "or 50p each!"

In that case I would take it back (if I could!)

The chicken is an epic deal. Still, I hope I've saved someone a purchase on the sausages. Not even worth 10p.

50p burgers and sausages? I'd imagine they're almost as bad as mcdonalds

Bought 6 packs of the chicken yesterday..For the same reason as Kerry! I love curry, and chicken that cheap is hard not to fill the freezer with!! HOT HOT HOT

not at our store- we filled our trolley up,

frezzer full of cheap grub now- tried the bangers on the barbie last night and they are ok - well im still alive this morning!

How much is the chicken seperately?

I know the OP says 50p each, but thats what it works out as each? I can't imagine them all being priced individually as 50p, or 6 for £3 as there would be no incentive to buy 6.

If the chicken is cheap enough, then I will buy shed loads.

they are all priced at 50p each, but they sort of "compliment" each other to form a BBQ meal if you buy one lots of each, total cost £3.

It makes it easier to advertise rather than saying various items are 50p, you can get a BBQ deal for £3 when you buy what is on offer.

Excellent Kerry I will do that myself if local store has stock (maybe even more if I can!).

Badger it's first come first served so go and be selfish yourself...go on let your self go...

£2.78/kg for chicken is an excellent price even beating the £4.99 1kg packs in Netto.

The chicken flies off the shelf at this price. Morrisons do this a few times a year and you get there and there is none left. Same again last night when I popped in at 17.00. Walked around the store and 30 minutes later they put another load out, and it was a mad scramble to get some.

I know it's not free range chicken but at that price it's excellent for stir fries etc.

Burgers are 80% meat apparently

taste alright too

They had it stacked up in Glasgow in around 4 diff places in the store. Got 8 packs.
#18
I don't really care if there is any left for other people. They sure don't care about me. Same as the 4 tins of top quality toms from £1 at Asda the other day. Pallets full disappearing in minutes.

Some people are food snobs on here. The other day i heard someone in asda say "i'd rather starve then eat them" i don't think so!.

i had some of the sausages before, they where ok, they where soft, they where ok for 50p.. they tasted ok to me.
