This item price never £5 over. Check other seller.

I've got one It's rather poor you'd be better off with an analogue dial at this price range and I've never seen it anywhere near £5, RRP is a load of tosh

1.84 is a great price... Check the reviews. To check temperature, stick it where the sun don't shine

It's an average price they've always been selling at this price on eBay they're all the same chinese manufacturer it's just on Amazon they've stuck on a ridiculous rrp to make it look worth more than it is

Stop knocking a reasonable deal, it tells the temperature what do people want from a digital thermometer at this price, it's a couple of quid!

A couple of quid on something which will break quite easily is still wasted money

Have had one of these for 18 months now and still going strong. I checked the accuracy in boiling water and it was within 0.5 degrees C. Pretty accurate I thought.

omg 0.5 of a degree is neither here nor there and you'd at least make sure it was a couple over ot under the temp to be certain of being out of the danger zone. Thanks op! wanted one of these will ser how I get on!

I've had 2 of this model (one from Amazon, one from eBay) both turned up with badly leaking batteries and corrosion which prevented them from working - maybe I was just unlucky?
