Thats a deal? Back in my day it cost 16p and every kid I knew read it. Now it costs I assume about £1.35 and nobody reads it

Remember when these were 30p each lol.

Got a shock a few weeks ago when I looked at the kids magazines and most were £2-£3 oO.
They try and justify the price by putting cheap toys on the front that we all know will falls to bits after 10 mins. So annoying.

Anyway £1 a comic these days can't be bad.

Sad, I remember them being 2d (2 old pence, less than a 1p now) when I bought them '-(

Indeed! I had to re-read it initially to make sure I wasn't seeing things!

Sure it was about 10p or something back in the days when I used to buy it ..... *sigh*

your all just showing your age :p

Wondering if my 6 year old would enjoy these? Ive never read them (25 years young!)

Seems a good price as most the magazines he picks up are £2 - £4!

I remember when I could get the Beano and the Dandy and a bag full of black jacks and fruit salads and still have change from a farthing.

Yeah, but schoolkids today can work out that if 15 issues for £15 is a saving of 1/3 then it costs exactly £1.50 now.

I can work out that you were child of the '80s (Thatcher's education cuts would explain why your maths is so poor).

Back in my day it cost 5p.
