I know stock will vary from store to store, but I found a load of remastered Beatles albums in Norwich's Longwater store for £6.00 each.

The ones that I saw in there were:-

Sgt Pepper
Abbey Road
Magical Mystery Tour
Please Please Me
Help!
Revolver
Let It Be

The best online price at the moment for these CDs is £7.98 on Amazon.

Just been back and got copies of Rubber Soul, A Hard Day's Night and Yellow Submarine so they are putting new stock out. Keep your eyes open.

Are these really any better than the 'original' CDs? That's a genuine question - I'd hate to buy the ****** things yet a third time round and find there's virtually no difference! :?

Yep.
If you're in two minds about getting them, try Abbey Road first and see what you think.
They have a much better rounder sound without just boosting the volume, which I think is most obvious on Abbey Road - I have heard instruments on it that I had never noticed before.

The best £6 you'll ever spend. Listen to "Something" on Abbey Road and follow the bass line. Sublime

Yes. But the needledrop scene produced nearly the same quality ages ago. I do rate the remasters though. The White Album is the only essential selection and that doesn't appear to be part of the deal.

The box set at £150 is not worth it, but these at £6 a pop I'd say they are just about worth it. I don't think they sound that amazing personally.

Back from Middlesbrough and they have a few Sgt Peppers' and several Abbey Roads left... typical as they're about the only ones I already own, bah!

Voted hot :)

Apart from "The White Album" and "Abbey Road" you need the mono remasters,,,
