omg I didnt realize they were this expensive ! picked the whole lot up in mint condition for two quid at my local carboot ..
really lovely set :)
Got a little one on the way so just got me this set.
I used to love these books when I was little, and my kids enjoyed them too. Great price HOT from me :).
had a quick google: this is a very good price.

Also the set gets fantastic reviews. I had to send to a family members as Aberdeen doesn't qualify for free delivery. Will make a lovely Chrstmas pressie for my nieces - and I'll look mega generous and thoughtful :)

Cheers OP (H&R)
Wow! I've been on the lookout for these for over a year and have never seen them this cheap. We've already decided to get the boys bikes for Christmas, so I've sent an email to their uncle to see if he fancies being generous this Christmas. Thank you so much!

I have just placed an order. don't forget your quidco cashback too! At 6% this comes to £28.30.

Plus items are delivered free if they're over £25, so there's no need to use the free delivery voucher.
Heat added. You only get these books at this price now and again so get it now.A few years ago I got the complete collection of stories all in one big hardback book for £25.Although it's handy for me to just lift the one book and have all the stories there, these look far nicer sitting on the shelf. They also make a lovely (unisex) present for someone that you know is about to have a baby,christening,1st birthday, etc.
Thanks Andy .... ordered two (one for ours, and one as a christmas pressent) Just a tip If you spend £40 you recieve a free rhs diary for 2010 as well worth £12.99
I'm not flush at the moment but with a 2 year old, it would be a crying shame to miss out as I don't know when I'd get the chance again and I certainly would not pay £120. I suppose I always thought I'd get some of these but to get the lot is great.

Just before I order, no extras with quidco, cashback and the like I should be aware of ?
what age are these books for i have a 5 yr old does anyone think she' too old ? but suppose could buy for my 8 week old for when she's older.

I don't know the official age, but my good lady was reading Peter Rabbit to my 4 year old last week and I got these for my nieces who are 3 and 7 (I think) if their mum prefers they get something else come Chrsitmas I will gladly give these to my 4 year old who will be closer to 5 then.

As an aside my wife ended up finishing a story after my little one had fallen asleep, because she (my wife) was enjoying it so much.

Also she read some to me as there are some funny bits such as (if I remember correctly) the white lady rabbit who runs off with a black man rabbit and has a mixture of black and white bunnies. then there was the child-stealing badger and the dozy old grandpa who was babysitting and let the badger in. Badger & Grandpa get stoned on Cabbage ciggars, badger steals one of the kids and when dad gets in he slaps grandpa for being such useless old codger.

so I reckon ages 2 - 70 ;-)
thanks think i will order now if my 5 year old isnt intrested least i'll have some good reading:thumbsup:

the official age is 0-7 I think I saw somewhere....My grandad used to read me these unti I was approx 5...then I used to read them to him from then on :-D

loved the books but they went walkabout...think they got given away somewhere along the line....I have ordered some for myself just for the memories...and maybe one day I would love to read them to any children I may have :)
I might buy these for my missus. She loves em
Awsome, my gf loves these books and has been after a set for a while.

not sure how you do a link, but I have just had this set delivered for £9.94 including delivery and a free ruck sack for joining books for children. Go to the above site and enter passcode m6950 to join

terms and condition state 4 books must be purchased during first year of membership, with books starting from 1p, this is still a bargain.

Plus you don't pay anything upfront, just make sure you pay within 28 days to get for this price.

Hope this helps someone
Fantastic deal. Have been looking for this for my daughter, but the cheapest i could find it was 80quid on amazon.

Have now ordered mine from The Book People - free postage too - just got to be a winner!!
