The higher priced headphones are more worth the price tag, even with this slight discount it's not a bargain. These headphones are on par with the seinheisser ones for £60... If your going to buy big, spend big. Get the monsters.

Cold just because they are a rip off, discount or not.

Dont bother, people dont rate Beats headphones deals as beats headphones deals. Rather vote cold by comparing them to other headphones.

If these were half price, they'd still be overpriced.

I've paid this kind of money for headphones twice and neither of them sounded quite this disgusting. If you have this cash and want good sound my vote goes with the Sennheiser hd25 II if you want closed (sound isolation) or Grado sr80i if you want open clarity. On the other hand if you want to think you look cool but actually show how much of an idiot you are then Beats are perfect!!

They look pretty nice but the beats look nicer and much more for my generation, but I thing they are just too expensive, I spend £60 last year to get the Urban Platinum, and used them for about 2 months and never really thing of using them again...

I got a set of fake beats for £40 delivered, look identical - wouldn't be shocked if they were of the same audio quality too - because for £40, they're decent.

Don't waste your money on these (pay for the name) headphones . Have a look at a proper pair of industry standard (99%) of all recording studios will have these beyerdynamic dt770. one really good thing about beyer is you can get any spares you need and the average price is £130. My nice wanted a pair, after getting her to listen to my dt770's she soon changed her mind. i also must add that i use a pair of these every day for work and most of the time forget they are on my head.

If you are spending this sort of money and you want to buy headphones for their intended purpose - it's got to be Sennheiser HD 25II's without a doubt.

I wish I came up with the idea of Beats headphones. They must make so much money from mugs.

i actually had a pair of hd250s about 8 years ago they were fantastic but not a patch on the frequency response of the beyer dt770's

    why would anyone get these?
especially if you know how over priced they are....
do you really need something like this to make you feel special around others?
get yourself something decent and enjoy them for yourself

Beats headphones are overpriced fashion items. Sound quality is average, the bass is so overcooked that it makes you feel sick. Worst of all, if you wear them outdoors you look like you've just bought a pair of £10 fakes off of eBay. Completely uncool.

Find me a pair of £10 fakes on eBay. Most fakes tend to go for £70+

They're fine for general use about the house - probably not for portability. Most OB trucks and stations I've worked in have them as standard in the industry.
Beyers and Grados are very good too - I think its a preference with cheap and easily replaceable parts with the Sennheisers that tips the balance in my favour.

For day to day personal media use, I use Sennheiser MM450's with my iPhone - but they are not really comparable to this deal.
