Nice!

Bought and the extra £5 off was an added bonus - saw someone with these on the plane to Thailand - asked what they were all about and he let me have a listen - excellent product
#10
Not the best headphones but for this price I couldn't resist, thanks OP
#11
This won't get as hot as it should, mindblowing price!
#12
great price, thanks

A cracking price for these cans - but I'm a good lass and resisted.

I bought some Sennheiser MM450's instead last month during Play.com's march madness sale for £119 and they blow these out of the water.

To be honest I had a listen in the Apple store and the sound stage of these are really not that good. There is very little definition in the bass and especially the mid range.

My Koss Porta-Pro that costs £18 sounded better.
#15
bought the black ones :D cheers opp :)

Yeah none of the beats deals do because a lot of people don't like them on here. Not sure why, I've had a listen to them, and compared them to a lot of other high end headphones and I don't think they are that bad. Certainly not worth the RRP but at this price a worthwhile buy.

Am slightly worried bout the durability if them though as it was raised as a concern with the first batch that went to production. But has apparently been fixed, guess I'll just have to wait and see

ordered for £140 2 days ago lol just called up have to return them and re order some more at this price bit stupid
#18
fantasticcc , i bought mine from amazon £140 a month ago?????
#19
Is there anyone that's listened to both these and the Goldring NS1000's by any chance?
I just don't want to splash out £75 and then think "meh" when I compare them to these current ones... which have active noise cancelling and bigger ear cups... :)

mamboboy - as I said, they are 'meh' at best.

Wonder how they compare to my Sennheiser 590's.

the Goldrings are decent but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge ugly.

Was looking at these a month ago at £150. Definitely can't resist at £71.50!
#24
REALLY tempted to get a pair of these, was looking at the Studios and these a few months back. I got to try the Studios in-store. Can anyone who has them let me know if it's worth it? I'm currently just using the iPhone earphones that come with the iPhone as they are the best earphones of the lot, imo.

So, I'd like someone to tell me what these headphones are like, think I should make the switch and need a bit of convincing/reassurance. :)

i have just ordered these. a housemate owns a pair and they are really impressive.

i currently own a pair of Sennheiser HD 205's and a pair of Bose® OE audio headphones - the sennheiser's lack bass but are rich in clarity and treble, the bose produce bass really well but IMO do not match the sennheiser in clarity.

the volume controls on the beats also work with the iphone which is an added benefit - unlike the controls on the Bose.
the bass is good, and they can go extremely loud :D

To be honest, when I'm commuting I just use in-ear ones, so aesthetics don't bother me. My Goldrings are for the PC, which is what I'd use the Beats for.
Going to give this a miss though I think :) I'm always buying headphones and then reselling them because they don't ever seem to justify the pricetag (Goldrings seem to be the only exception).

Student discount ;) (I graduated 2 years ago though, haha)

seems like a good price for some stylish headphones, however i can't recommend them. Look at the Denon AH-D1100's if you want a decent quality pair of cans with much better balance and sound stage, should be able to get them under £90; i personally own them and with a little eq adjustment (to tone down the bass, use the accoustic setting on zen vision m) they sound great.
