Beats Pill wireless speaker 1.5. Was originally £169, now £89 (save £80)
Seems to be selling for around £150 elsewhere, so this is a great deal.

Its not a bad price but the reviews for this are not overwhelming. In fairness though virtually all say that isnt worth the original asking price. Perhaps this price is more realistic.

Is this an old model? And 2.0 is the new? Can't figure it out as a search for 1.5 on amazon only shows the 2.0. Suppose 1.5 would be discontinued and non for sale on amazon?

Wouldn't even buy it at this price. Worth about £30-50 max. Just paying for the name

I've just had a look, and can't find it either. I think the 2.0 is a newer model, although I'm unsure what the difference between the 1.5 and 2.0 actually is.

Definitely not worth £169. It's OK, just make sure u turn any equalisers off etc on your ipod/phone

You can get a Jambox for this or less still and it's a far higher quality product.

Been this price for the 1.5 in Asda a couple of weeks heard it advertised on the radio. So if that thread is still open this is a duplicate and should be deleted.

Think the 2.0 has a power out option, which if the speaker has charge means you can plug in to a phone (or anything USB powered) and charge it up. thus obviously draining the speakers power/battery.

Last posted over 4 weeks ago and since expired so guessing some stores have left over stock.

This is alright for 80 odd quid. Very good as a speaker to take away with you on hols or in a hotel room. Surprisingly full sound, given the size.

Although, I'd echo most of the reviews by stating it is not worth anywhere near the original rrp.

Agree. I'd rather go with the jbl speaker

This seems excessive - I had to double take at the price. Not voting, because it could be worth it & I always champion voting the deal not the product. I do wonder if people buying this have more money than sense (I would have thought that a half decent smartphone with decent sound could be had for not much more)? Just hope I am never in the room next door to the person who needs an £90 speaker in a hotel room! :)

listen to it before you buy it, more importantly listen to the other portable speakers that are much cheaper. I tried it with my beats HTC one and it was the worst of all portable speakers.
