Actually a really good price for these even if the 2 rather then the 3!

Sleek and stylish, Beats By Dr Dre Solo 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have been given n premium look with their gold finish.

No need for wires

You'll be able to unplug your Beats By Dr Dre Solo 2 Headphones and pair them with a Bluetooth device (your phone or tablet, for instance) to enjoy freedom of movement and listening up to 9 metres from the device.

A built-in mic allows for hands-free calling, and you can adjust tracks and volume via the on-ear controls – no more fiddling around trying to fish your phone out of a bag or pocket.

This wireless functionality is available all day with a 12-hour rechargeable battery, which features an illuminated LED fuel gauge which lets you know when you need to recharge the headphones.

On-ear, on trend

Beats Solo 2 headphones match their smooth curves with incredible full-range sound that reproduces your favourite songs so faithfully, it feels like the artist is performing in front of you.

Feel extra-stylish with an attention to detail that includes matching ear cups, cord and headband completed by a distinctive matte finish and reflective Beats logo detail.

None near me (Derby) but tried a few areas and available in both Newcastle and Sunderland. I only tried a few big cities so there are some knocking around.

good to know! gutted none near me as go great with my MacBook and SE in Gold! Actually think the 3 vs 2 is less of an upgrade on this version because these have 12 hours anyway and I'd be using them more for at home or university then on the go! Better to save the £110!

I really don't understand why people pay so much money for Beats headphones. Give me Sennheiser or Bose any day!

That article basically says the same as any product...there is a massive mark up! I tried the original beats in a store years ago and thought the were terrible. However my opinion changed when I got the Powerbeats 2 free with my iPad Pro. The series 2 Bluetooth models and above are actually pretty decent, especially if you listen to music that is Bass heavy. My go to headphones are the Bowers and Wilkins P3 but I'm actually really happy with the Powerbeats. Especially as I use then at gym or walking to university mainly so tend to listen to dance, hip hop or even indie/rock which they are good for. If you're listening to classical music or acoustic then they are tbf wrong headphones but then they aren't marketed or tuned for that crowd. The beats hate is quite astounding yet few have actually tried the series 2 or above.
