  Bottles are a little on the small side at 275ml, but still worth knocking the top off with the sun out.

  Lovely proper beer - only brewed in Germany and under the strict Reinheitsgebot purity law.
  
  Unlike the usual rubbish that brewed under license in the UK.
  
  Nice dry hoppy finish on this.

  Nice lager, but alcohol volume has dropped to 4.8% recently from 5% :(
  Stella and Budweiser have also dropped to the same 4.8%

  Same price in Co-op too (down from £12). Shows how expensive beer must have become lately when a price like this is suddenly considered a good deal

  £1.81 a litre, not bad being as Asda's cheapy but good bottles have gone up to £1.42. Aldi ones are still amazing at £1.22 a litre, 4.8% and taste great.

  The original Beck's bought in Germany is only 4.7%abv and has been for years. So we're still getting a stronger version than them. Personally I think Beck's has survived the latest decrease much better than what Stella or Carlsberg has.
