Starting tomorrow, most beef roasting joints will be available at an amazing price of only £5 per kg from the butcher's counter in Morrisons. Included in this deal are:

Topside Joints (Topside steaks are also on offer, cant remember the price)
Silverside Joints
Top Rump Joints

This is an amazing deal of bout 40% off. Salmoncut Silverside is also on offer at slightly more than £5 per kg, think its about £5.49.

This deal starts tomorrow so get down to Morrisons and get some roasts! They are freezable so you can stock up!

Can you also confirm that Morrisons meat is normally more expensive than alternative supermarkets?

This is an ongoing argument with my mother-in-law.

At Morrisons about £9 per KG I think, maybe £8.50.

rump end silverside joint or H-bone corner off the topside lovely and tender as is salmon cut. Dont forget to ask them for some fat, lean meat is way too dry.

I'd back it 100%. Morrisons meat is really nice quality, and their fresh produce too. Pity their hummous (sp?) tastes like wallpaper paste, though.

I'll be down tomorrow to fill my freezer with cow.

I've only ever had quality meat from morrisons I'd even g as far as saying best quality of all the main supermarkets. Very good deal.
#22
Only buy my beef at Morrisons, best ever :O)
#23

#25
Morrisons beef, superior to other Supermarkets. I had their fillet steak yesterday, cannot fault it & I am sooo fussy.

Cheaper than Sainsburys and certainly Waitrose
#27
Think i'll sort out my xmas joint then and make some freezer room, morrisons is by far the best supermarket for meat.
#28
Is this halal meat or are the animals slaughtered humanely?

Not sure if it is more expensive, but in my opinion Morrisons meat is the best quality and always cooks to perfection unlike other supermarket meats. :D

What’s the best cut for making roast beef slices for sandwiches?
#32
Bought two pieces - salmon cut silverside, slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Just got the right amount of fat on top so it does not dry out when cooking.

Always buy the best you can afford, but honestly you will get a lot of beef for your money here, even if you go for the salmon cut silverside. The butcher will cut your piece to how you want it provided it is not already packed up.
#34
Hope there's still some silverside left. Will be making some home made biltong at a great price! Hot!
