Strawberry beer? Never heard of it. Sounds rather peculiar.

that's how to properly get your swerve on, do the tricolore, start with red, a kriek or a fruli, then have a white beer, a hoegaarden or similar, then go blue, a chimay blue at 9% would do the trick

they sell fruli in weatherspoons pubs, you get it in a fruli glass too

Don't suppose they've got Duvel in that deal as well have they...now that is a quality drink ;-)
#4
These are small bottles. They are normally 500ml so I wouldn't go too crazy.

It's not a bad price for the Leffe, normally they sell in 330ml or 750ml bottles..if you're lucky you might get a 2 x 750ml deal on those for £5 in some supermarkets working out at 1500ml for a fiver, whereas with the above deal you can get 5 x 330ml (1650ml) and have 5p change for some sweeties...well if they still did rhubarb and custards / mojos individually ;-) ....but as the OP said, if you like buying the odd bottle or 2 then it's not that bad.

yes, it's magic stuff! Duvel is £1.50 for 330ml or 3 for £4.00 until 07/10

330ml bottles of Leffe are 70p in Sainsburys at the moment! Thats only £3.50 for 1650ml leaving you with £1.50 get plenty of milka chocolate for that and still have change for your penny sweets! :gift:

Maybe in your local store, but as I'm sure you are aware, many cut price offers in Sainsbury's are store specific. The online price at Sainsbury's for Leffe Blonde 330ml is £1.39 and this is the price that most people will probably find in their local store.

That said, Hoegaarden 330ml, Leffe Blond 330ml and Leffe Brune 330ml are all 98p in Asda.

Can see me visiting all my local supermarkets to find the best price...got some yesterday but after the Five marathon Euro football evening they didn't last long.

Think the Fruli is only 250ml, according to Tesco website. I was going to go buy some until i read that

[oops, as stated in OP]

4 packs of Hoegaarden 330ml and Leffe Blond 330ml are now 2 for £7 at Sainsbury's. Obviously this works out at 88p per bottle.

Yeah, saw this last night. Made me laugh that in Sainsbury's they have the new 12x330ml box of Leffe for £13.99 directly under the 2 for £7 offer...so I can get 16 bottles of Leffe for £14 or 12 for £13.99...tough choice that.
