This is the exact same telly that everyone got ripped off on the Musthave100.co.uk SCAM.

From what i remember Argos were punting a few off at £200 at the time and thats why everyone got duped.

Officially known as the Digital Video Disc, though marketers unofficially refer to it as the Digital Versatile Disc. DVD uses a 5-inch disc with anywhere from 4.5 Gb (single layer, single-sided) to 17 Gb storage capacity (double-layer, double sided). It uses MPEG2 compression to encode 720:480p resolution, full-motion video and Dolby Digital to encode 5.1 channels of discrete audio. The disc can also contain PCM, DTS, and MPEG audio soundtracks and numerous other features. An audio-only version, DVD-A uses MLP to encode six channels of 24-bit/96-kHz audio.

DVB-S is the original Digital Video Broadcasting forward error coding and modulation standard for satellite television and dates from 1995. The latter version uses HDCP copy protection to prevent unauthorized copying. See also HDMI.

I got one of these for my daughter last time round from Argos. For the money you can't knock it and it heats a small bedroom lovely :-D

I am looking for a screen to hang on the bedroom wall with Sky coming in via a scart resender thing we have in the apartment. Would this be suitable?

I can give you a quick review of the one my dad got from Musthave (he and guv were the only two to get theirs, I think).

Set up was easy. Picture is fine for a cheap model. If you're an AV enthusiast, this TV isn't for you. If you just want a cheap HD LCD tv, then you can't really go wrong for this price.

I was one of the lucky ones & bought from Tesco about 9 months ago. No problems, no dead pixels ace bit of kit for sub £200. Even though no freeview integrated I would personally recommend product.

Go on buy 1 you won't be disappointed

God..... If my tight ar$e brother can say yes to this deal, it has got to be a bargain.

Been trying to get him to buy an HDTV for 2 years but he keeps saying they cost too much.

Sent the link for this one to him & he ordered it.
#36
just ordered one, good post thanks (second tv i've bought this week) voted hot

Bought mine for £249.. disgusted

Lack of Freeview means this TV is futureproof.. because Freeview will be turned off once DVB-T2 (MPEG4) starts taking over.

managed to get two of these tvs last just before christmas last year when argos was doing them for £199 (over 50 % off)
great tvs for the money
using one has a 32" pc monitor
and the other for my bedroom
cant go wrong at this price
Picture In Picture can be turned on via the secet engineers menu
as well as other things like blue screen when no input
cant remember the code you put in to get it up at the minute

Can anyone confirm or deny whether this TV supports HD? Also, does it have the 3 white, red and yellow ports which the PS3 uses (can't remember the name)?
