whats that about? :?

Avoid. Anything with the name "Beko" in it should be avoided. These are cheaply and very poorly made products. You really do get what you paid for with this manufacturer.

Beko are made in Turkey mostly for supermarkets Somerfield were the first to stock them in the UK in 2005 seen many different models and the picture and the build quality is not the best but I guess you get what you pay for, no freeview tuner on the Argos one for £200 either so take that into account.

Great price - voted hot.....

I reserved one for £199 but whats the odds that when i go to the store they ask for £299.

The price you pay will be the price in store on the day,is their policy.

I'm interested to know whether anyone has picked one up yet for £199.

I think this is a misprice but i'd love to be wrong.
#25
Still £199.99 for me too (and I've refreshed the pages)
#26
For those that can't get it at £199 try this link and see what happens >https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5292875/Trail/searchtext%3EBEKO.htm

Might work, might not ;-)

dont forget to use vouchers scam buy £100 of vouchers and receive £110 then buy another £100 of vouchers and get £110 then you have £220 in vouchers pay £190 in vouchers and £9.99 in cash then you will receive another £10 voucher back and you have only effectively paid £169.99 for tv as you still have £40 in vouchers
#28
also one reserved for £199 but see what happens later when it's picked up.
#29
i click then shows bloody £399.99 :|

Also, in the email it says that if you spend over £100 then you get a £10 voucher.

But what's the....buy £100 vouchers and get £110 thing?
Someone posted about it in this thread but i couldnt understand due to no commas or fullstops

If you get the page to display the product as £199 then save and print it if you are doing a reserve for store collection. Here when I go to the product page I get a price of £299 via the link provided, if I do a browse of the TV section in the list it is shown as £199 but when click on the link I get the price again of £299. I have check on the office connection, a seperate ADSL connection and a Virgin Media cable connection and the same happens on each machine.
#38
They're in stock near where I work in London, and also at home in Cambs. And they're showing £199.99 in the checkout box.

Like someone said earlier, the browser caches must need a good clear out.

I think that voucher offer expired last week (or maybe the week before?)

And its not really a "scam" because that would imply it was something illegal. I much prefer the term, "trick"

Nice spot OP. Parents' Chrimbo present sorted
