For a split second I thought it was a condenser model. Would have jumped on it. Still good price for vented isn't it?

Over the life time of a Tumble Dryer the principal cost tends to be the energy it consumes not the initial purchase price.

Even if Beko gave this machine away it still compares unfavourably with other machines. Buying a C rated tumble dryer makes little economic sense unless you are getting your power for free, or on a mission to 'donate' your hard earned to the electricity supply industry, or the lightest of users.

This machine has a lifetime cost of over £1,200 - avoid

See here for white goods lifetime cost comparisons.

Reverse action? Does that mean it takes moisture from the air and makes your dry clothes wet?

I see what your saying. please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can see that website says this machine has an overall cost of £1035 over its lifetime and that's based on a higher purchase price of £144 so making it 1017 over its lifetime not over £1200.
obviously the more energy efficient are great in the long run if you have the money to begin with but some of don't unfortunately

The model number DRVT71 is ranked 54 if you use the filters Manufacturer - All, Drum Size - All, Energy Labeling - up to 2013, Sort by - Total Cost of Ownership, Select Tariff - UK average September 2015 That comes up with a figure of £1217.59 lifetime cost

Couldn't get an overall cost of £1035?

The basic premise still remains - you can pay more up front for a tumble dryer that will use less energy, so in the longer term will save you money.
