good price!
Surely you'd spend a few quid more on a decent brand?

Such as??

I got this a couple of months ago to replace an LG direct drive washing machine. The Beko is quieter, cleans just as well and has a larger drum for much less than the LG cost. It seems to get good pretty reviews from owners too.

Brand name is rarely a guarantee of quality these days.
nowt wrong with Beko

I have this washing machine and it gives excellent results

and my neighbour still has our old Beko fridge and freezer and they must be coming up 15 years old now

Bought this last Nov. for approx same price.
Highly recommended. Does what it says on the, er, tin.
As said, large drum is great and the choice of programs is good, too.
Excellent value for money.

You might if you're inclined to be a label snob. (Not that I'm saying you are. But it's part of the shopping culture, in this country.)
Got one of these machines in April 2009 - new motor & motherboard in April 2010.
May 2011 - new motor and motherboard one week later - broken again!
I was just comparing and found that Comet are price matching:

Comet £236.00 & £5.90 Quidco means £230.10 total delivered.
I got my 8227W from Currys last year for 215 quid and it's a great machine. It's relatively quiet, has a very useful LCD display (time remaining in particular is a must-have feature) and has loads of programmes that you can tweak the temp/spin speed/duration of. I do Cotton, 40C, 1200RPM, Quick Wash for a time of 1 hour 6 mins for most of my regular washes, but you can get as low as 39 mins with "Daily Quick".
