If you check out reviews on the likes of Argos etc websites, Beko is actually turning out good stuff these days. Can't disagree it WAS tat though.

So, good deal OP ;-)

i bought a Beko a few months back, it's been fine thus far

Agree, Beko stuff is better. Mind you I got a ProLine fridge freezer just before Christmas and for the money it is excellent. Looks really good in my kitchen too. I'd avoid Hotpoint as Which are always banging on about their reliability

Must try harder OP lol !

You are wrong sir! :w00t:

I've just used my free months subscription to Which? to check out Beko's reliability on Fridge-frezzers and I'm shocked to find that it scores 95% on their reliabilty index, second only to Siemens (96%) - beating the likes of Neff, Bosch, Hotpoint etc. Samsung (77%) and Whirlpool (78%) are bottom. I'm relieved too as I just bought an LG Fridge-freezer and they come a respectable 4th - phew! :-D

I've had several different Beko products over the years, and i've never had any problems with quality or reliability. My current fridge/freezer is a Beko and still working well after 11 years.

I'd gladly recomend this 'economy' brand and have been looking at this one as a replacement.

I had a beko fridge-frezzer 10 years ago, 3 months later I had another, a month later I had anothr, then I gave up! As you can tell the experience has never left me.

Why would this be a good deal?

Comet have ones from £160! http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/category/30/Fridge-Freezers

Can get a Hotpoint one for £230

Which 2 people comments...Lets all listen to them

I bought a Beko fridge freezer over a year ago and it works fine apart from the ice cube tray snapping off, haven't looked for a replacement tray yet. >_>

can't work out which one the Op has spotted as interesting, the list is vast...

Beko isn't such a bad brand. I wouldn't touch Hotpoint they are Indesit which are *****! After buying Bosch products I would not buy again total rubbish.

Mother in Law had a Beko Fridge freezer 6 years ago and still going strong so don't knock it its just a name its only a badge it could have been made anywhere and a different badge put on!!

I wouldnt go out and buy a so called expensive product just for the name like some folks do!!!

I bought one from Currys last year with the drinks dispenser CDA 653 F, a week after the warranty run out its starting making knocking/popping noises....sounds like its going to break any day soon. Anyone else had this problem? Im shocked to see they have 95% reliability in Which....i must have got a dodgy one!
