Many, many thanks Whizzkid, have been looking for a new washing machine at the "right" price for ages, great find. Just ordered one with free delivery arriving next Thursday and 10% quidco as well. Well done, excellent find. Thanks again

Really interested to know if anyone has a Beko washing machine at the moment. Ours is on the blink and might need to replace and this looks a good contender.
#3
Now out of stock!!

decent little machines used to work a a white goods company and boss got these in at 99 quid but got quite a good reputation as far as im aware, size wise not as *deep* as other washing machines but still good for the price
#5
Good price but 5KG & 1000 spin speed, thats a very poor spec.

I agree. If you tumble dry your clothes for six months of the year it will take you longer and cost you more. Could be a false economy like buying a fridge because it's cheap but with poor power consumption.

Out of stock but the website says more due tomorrow - probably will be limited stock!

Got to be cheaper than a laundrette suuuurely.

I bought my bro and sis in law a Beko WME8227W for £248 from Dixons a week or so ago cos they're skint and needed a new machine, I couldn't find a bad word said about it on the net. It holds 8KG, has an lcd display and is very, very quiet in deed. Time will tell if it's any good or not.

hotpoint definately do NOT last 10-15yrs thats a massive laugh, best you will get from a newer made one is about 5 years maximum, they are designed so poorly, i once remember a rep coming to the boss of the place i worked at and he told him to order 200 bearing because the hotpoint washing machines were made faulty now THAT is a disgrace

Not impressed with their opening offer on this http://www.bestbuy.co.uk/product/1000101816/krups-dolce-gusto-red-coffee-machine.aspx

It's the same price at Dixons and Amazon.

Are mistaking a Hotpoint for a Miele? ;)

Had the WM5100W for about a year with no problems and I regularly 'overfill' it, also got a Beko dishwasher. I know they are at the budget end of the market, but they do exactly what they should with no frills!
#16
Bought one of these (or prev model) last year toreplace a knackered 4 year old hotpoint. Its been fantastic, not had a problem yet, had a beko tumble dryer with sensor for 1.5 years which is still as new, looking at all the reviews it looks like ive been lucky.

the spin speed isnt a problem either, havent noticed a huge difference when they come out and drying time.

buy it

Beko is a budget brand from Turkey building a great reputation - according to Which? their reliability is 'above average'.
#18
Someone should un-expire this, because its back in stock!

Having spoken to the helpline last night and been told they wouldn't be back in stock by the time the offer ran out on Monday evening, I was very happy to see this offer get reposted by someone. I was about to expire it and scoff at them for posting a deal a second time but glad I checked the site. I have now ordered. Thanks to both OPs.

hotpoint are well known to be one of the worst for reliability ... absolutely stupid comment

Almost every other brand is better then hotpoint ... look at the bosch one on the bestbuy website for something comparable price wise to the link you've posted .. much better chance of that lasting 15 years
