Good price, available only in Argos, strange......

Beko is a good brand. Ive got a Beko fridge Freezer and it is really good quality. Unless you kick into the £500 range of washers (usually with bigger drums / 5 year warranties), this seems to be a steal.

We have changed every kitchen appliance apart from the cooker over to BEKO, after being impressed with a freezer. They're all great, We have their top of the range washer and it is superb.

Agree about the Fridge-Freezer,I recently purchased one and I was surprised that the build quality and finish was so good. ( And that comes from a retired White Goods Buyer for a very large Electrical Retailer).

Another positive vote from me for Beko as a brand.
I did my research on Which reports re Washing Machines, and Beko was only a few % down from Miele etc which was costing 3 and 4 times as much !
If you can afford £1,000 plus without batting an eyelid, then of course stick to the 'better known brands'

How good a deal this is depends on personal choice.
I went for a Beko with a 1400 spin...... but each to their own;)

I've had an energy efficient Beko fridge/freezer for 12 years and it's still going strong without any problems - they're a highly regarded brandname.

Buy to let fodder. Not saying that it is crap per se but it is what it is, functional.

What a pointless comment!

Good product and reasonable price, hot.

Beko are an outstanding brand., had mine (WME7227B) since October and its fantastic.

We also have the washing machine in black, plus most of Beko's other matching black appliances (integated ceramic touch hob, frost free fridge freezer, integrated double oven) and ALL of them have been great in our new kitchen.

I actually deliberatly got the whole applainces in the Beko brand as they are just that good (and stylish and modern and they did them in black which is also what i was after) . I mean the washing machine we have (WME8227B) has a massive 8kg drum. I highly recommend them.

Beko washing machines are not great I owned one a few years ago, I didn't have it long and it broke down curry's didn't fix it in the time frame, as they had to order the parts from Turkey, so had to replace it and got a Hoover instead it's a much better machine.

Seem like all we have this same wascher. I have white one and I don't have to pay nothing durning 12 months, Beko is a great stuff!!!

It is one of these brands that plays lottery with your money (can be good if you are lucky but no guarantees). My Beko fridge freezer which was well looked after had died after about 14 months from purchase. I wouldn't touch them again.

Exactly the same as one we just bought from Dixons - doesnt have brand logo. Box had Curry Essentials on it. Cheapest at £159.99. Had a Beko for 5 years plus, so hope this last just as long if not longer!

Is this based on experience/facts or a snobbish opinion of cheaper brands?

Can anyone tell me the higest Temperture this machine goes too.. im fed up with my cold wash only machine with mould everywhere! :-(
#29
had one of these, very basic. wash cycles go on for hours. good customer service, had a problem sorted quickly. washes clothes with nothing fancy. Got a miele now, 4 times the price but amazing! personal preference - economy or taste the difference you get what you pay for!

beko fridge freezers are fine, but f/f dont have to do much, just sit there.

but washing machines are a different story. if you use your w/m every day dont buy a cheap (sub£230) one.if you spend twice as much and maybe get something like a bosch it will work out much cheaper in the long run - more efficient cheaper to run - less on parts/ call out charges - and will probably last twice as long.

i know people who always replace their w/m with the cheapest one available (beko/normendy/amica etc) and they think it's normal for a w/m to only last 4 or 5 years.

i agree and it based on facts/experience . wouldn't use in the BTL house for the potential bother down the road.

Just found this washing machine for £159 delivered, at Tesco Direct, and my old washer taken away free of charge! Quidco gives 3% on top of that. You just need to add the code TDX-KPRT into the e voucher section of the checkout. Winner!
