Voted hot, as it seems a very good price.

Loads of cold votes, but nobody prepared to state why

I'm needing a new washine machine but have no idea what is or isn't a good machine. Any pointers?

There was a Beko machine (A+AA) in the sales ay Comet for £190 at Christmas. Although this isn't a bad price there may be better out there if you're not in an immediate rush to buy one.

I always try and get the best rating I can on the drying so that they don't take ages to dry. This one is only B which doesn't help.

This machine has lots of good features - including an absolute cracking quick wash prog. It is, in my opinion, far far better quality than indesit hotpoint creda ariston (All the same manufacture in italy) the wash is very good if you use the machine properly i.e. follow the recommended progs.

Better build quality from LG, Miele, ISE but lots more money for these! Gorenje are excellent value & very good build quality + 2 year guarantee as standard!

If you want a large load size & good wash results you wont go far wrong with this one at the price.

I don't talk much do I

Forget the letters.....what you need to look for is % water extraction 'cos that is what really counts. I have a 1200 rpm spin machine and spun a towell in it after a rinse, I then spun it in a spin dryer at 2800 rpm - there was VERY little difference!

Also some machines will quote a 30 min quick wash BUT they forget to mention on that cycle the max spin is maybe 800 rpm instead of the 1200 max on a cottons cycle (Bosch have one that does this but there are lots more).

MORE HEAT PLEASE:-D

My quick wash does not leave my 2 year olds clothes very clean so i end up washing them again anyway.. I dont have this machine so cant comment on the quality of this one.

My washing machine is knackered. Debating a cheapish replacement, so this may do the job.

'tis not unkown by those in the know ....to add an extra "h" in the name of indes it.

In my humble opinion it just may be an "h" that will never be dropped.

Obviously there are members who simply don't know how unreliable beko products are!

C'mon now, don't waste your money! Read the beko forums and yes I do know many people who have regretted buying one. Ok you might get lucky but it's unlikely!

Gillman's in Gloucester have a BEKO WASHING MACHINE WM5100W for £179.99.

They deliver all over the country.

Yes they have a beko at £179.99 BUT it is a 1000 rpm spin and only a 5kg load compared to OP 1200 rpm spin and 7kg load!

Great idea if you live localy and want a cheap as poss beko

As usual with many of these so called "Cheap sites" they boast "Free delivery" ......until you look closer and find that this is only if you live in the GL post code area, if not then that model is cheaper here.
