If this tastes nice, is a great deal!

Website has it at over £2? Where was it for 54p? was it a pricing error do you think?
#3

Thats a fantastic price - if it's anything like Jacques then this will go stratospheric.
#7
Oh right, i thought poster was talking about deal instore. Well its good deal, but its got be a mistake. Home delivery will never honour that.

I have ordered this along with the carling chrome for delivery tomorrow - I was under the impression asda substituted items if they aren't available for the same price?
#9

I've just gone for the Chrome & Belgars at 54p - indeed Asda will not charge more for substitutes. You never know, they might end up giving you Jacques worth £2.50 a bottle - we'll see!

£2.50 for the eight hour delivery slot (£3.50 for the two), had to top the order up with twofer offers to make the £25 minimum order total, wander what'll turn up if anything?
#20
Serious question... does anyone know if it has artificial sweeteners in?
#21
Anybody know why it would be this price? Is it a mis-price or are they just shifting stock?
#22
Can this be collected in store ? If so I'll pop round now
#23

Just checked the label and there's no mention of artificial sweeteners whatsoever.

It does contain sulphites though.

Quite agree - I picked up 7 bottles of the stuff and gave it a taste last night as well.

Rather sweet but full of flavour and not very fizzy which is a bonus - amazingly good value for the price.

Deceptive as well being that it's a heady 5.5%abv

ordered the maximum allowed (24 bottles) as well as 6 packs of chrome for delivery this morning, they tried to substitute the belgars for 16 bottles of bulmers pear and the chrome for 20 cans of Carlsberg.

I don't like either so sent em back. Ended up with the stuff I'd ordered just to make the price up to the minimum order value :(

Lol, are you telling me to order any old thing i send back then? LOL! I never thought of that one :D

I ordered 20 bottles of these, they delivered kopparberg pear cider as a substitute worth £1.50 a bottle. I phoned up asda and pointed out that the woodland berry cider was 750ml and the replacement was 500ml bottles. end result? They refunded all my money! I now have £30 worth of cider for nothing so wish I had ordered more now :)

I got 24 bottles of Rekordelig instead, which happens to by my wifes favourite drink. I'm pretty happy, but I do agree with the 500ml over 750ml thing. Might ring up and kick off....

If you still have your invoice with your number just phone them and ask if they usually exchange with a smaller bottle? They have a great attitude to customers and may refund you the total cost too, good luck :)
