This is has a low resolution for a 20" monitor. Its really just an overgrown 19" widescreen monitor.

Its cheap just not an out and out bargain.

Thansk for the tip, what would you recommend as a good value monitor 17'to 20' to use for CCTV monitoring?

Thanks in advance :)

Not a bad price - but no DVI, so I wouldn't recommend it.

That's going to depend what kind of CCTV kit you're using... If you have a PC-based kit, you have plenty of options. But if you're looking to feed a composite signal into a monitor (more likely), you're probably going to want a TFT TV (not for the TV tuner, but for the composite - i.e. video - input).

Thanks for this edi :) It's a good price for 20" Belinea and fine for office applications. Not a bad games bundle for 1p either :pirate:

If this is the one: http://www.sourcesecurity.com/docs/fullspec/New_DS2.pdf ... then it supports "S-video and composite" output (Page 2, "Monitor Viewing"). In which case, you'll need something with a composite input - i.e. any television, flat panel or otherwise or a CCTV monitor (various professional gear is available with a video input but without a tuner). The aforementioned Belinea TFT would not be compatible, by the looks of it, unless you connect it up to a separate PC and view the web interface of the CCTV box over a network.
