This USB innovation from Belkin lets you connect up to four peripherals quickly and easily. Belkin's Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub provides four downstream USB ports that offer Plug-and-Play connectivity to your USB 1.1 (low- and full-speed) and USB 2.0 (high-speed) devices. This includes such peripherals as scanners, printers, mass-storage drives, and high-resolution cameras. The Hub is self-powered and allows cascading-so that up to 127 USB devices may be connected to a single port. The Hub is uniquely designed so that the four downstream ports can be positioned toward the back of the desktop for efficient cable management, or to the front of the desktop for easier port access. LEDs allow you to easily monitor master power and individual ports.

Product Highlights

* Offers stackable, reversible design
* Features four 480Mbps ports
* Transfers your data at up to 480Mbps
* Prevents damage to your computer and devices with over-current protection
* Installs easily with Plug-and-Play convenience
* Connect up to 2 high-speed devices without a power supply
* Works seamlessly with all your USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices
* Lets you monitor port and power status with LEDs

Perfect if you have a loptop and not many usb ports, instore only guys i have checked stock and most shops have some in stock Vinny

I've added a price and retailer name to the thread title. Thanks.

Self powered huh? Might be better than getting that iTune sync thing. I'll look in Currys in the weekend. Thanks.

Why Currys? :?

Very good price, I have enough otherwise I would be very tempted, even if it is self powered - nothing wrong with that!. My current self powered 4 port usb hub works fine with external hard disk, usb mouse, usb for phone and sd card reader.

Just curious how you checked the stock if it doesn't appear on the website?

Probably the same way as the deal the other month on the Uniross charger + 4 AA 2500mah batteries for a fiver was not on the website. Items I guess are pulled from the website when they get reduced to a certain clearance level and are just found on off chance instore only.

When the battery charger was on, I got the last one in the Kidderminster store, simply with offers like these at Comet you just have to check if you have one local enough or are passing. Some of us managed to find them in stores, others didn't, its as simple as that.

Not Belkin off course, but same device available in Poundland 3 times cheaper :)

Apart from the one in Poundland does not support USB V2 only 1.1 Compliant, hence slow on modern PC's

Just out of interest, do Comet actually exist any more? I thought all of the stores were turning into "currys.digital"?
Edit: excuse that moment of inspirational thinking, it was of course Dixons which became Currys.digital :oops:

i bought one from in friern barnet in london, it only cost me 1.99 pound. however it is not belkin though. it does come with a external power adapter. it is indeed usb 2.0

Does anyone have the Belkin Code for this? Tried my local Coment but they couldn't find it - suggested it was web only but OP says instore only.
TIA
