Just been into poundland in Birmingham, they have the Belkin illuminated (the ends light up) A to B Printer USB Lead, 1.8M or 6 Foot in old money, just £1, considering PC World sell a cheaper item for £15 its pretty good! they look a lot nicer than the brown/cream ones too.

Most likely available in all poundlands

But is it USB 2.0? If it's not, then it might not even be worth £1.

I'm pretty sure the PC World ones aren't, if looks are anything to go by lol. Anyway ALL leads are potentially USB2, even the skinny manky looking ones. Just because it doesn't have USB2 Certified on the label means nothing.
The PC World ones are ridiculously overpriced, they cost PC World 60p to buy and they sell them on for £15 ....
they sell them on for £15 ....

I Find that highly unlikely:giggle:

You misunderstand, I find it highly unlikely that they SELL them at £15;-) :p

Just checked that code number but it's not the ones I refer to, can't find them online but they're PCLine branded.
I bought one of these and was going to post this myself - it is USB 2.0 as it says on the back that it meets the speed requirement of USB 2.0, it reduces EMI/RFT interference. For a fuller description you can go to Amazon which also has a lighted USB cable. I think they should be around £3 normally.
F3U144 is the model number.
they do sell them for £15... easy.

normal ones sell 8 quid each eithout any effort what so ever. lol
