I've got two of the routers included with this, whilst they are not perfect they are more than up to the task of sharing an internet connection between a number of devices.

It's been this price for about 2mths. For basic internet,ps3,wii and internet radio,it's fine. But for the downloading of films, music etc it does suffer.

i had a speedtouch 585 and the dropping was due to upnp and port forwarding, you could just DMZ to the XBOX or manually forward the ports to it.. if not any netgear will surfice.

Get yourself a D-Link DIR-655 and get real performance on Cable!
BTW, Cable Rules! I have both 'up to 20MB' BT BB - getting 3.5MB if I'm lucky!
and Virgin cable, am getting a solid 11MB on the lowest basic VirginMedia BB package!

No cable up my street unfortunately, I get 8 down and 1 up all the time though with no trafficing, so I'm quite happy. No-one can offer me better.

How do you DMZ to the XBOX. I am familiar with port forwarding but can't remember my password to get into the modem.:x

You should be able to find the default passwords for your Router/ADSL box on the internet
and manually reset it to these - google should be able to advise on your device.

Belkin was the worst router I've had (even worse than the free one I got from my ISP!) Wouldn't do gaming (well known 'challenge'), unreliable, poor range.....it amazes me how they're so popular.......I'd go for a linksys instead anyday!

Truly awful!
