like the amazon reviews ... a life time warranty is useless if the product is crap.

also slightly worried @ the 120vac adaptor bit. probably is 120/240 ... but who knows?
This looks like a good deal but be warry of using older wireless routers (which this looks like) with modern devices like iPhone and iTouch - they don't work!
does not mention how many months warranty considering this is refurbished.
another case of 7 day shop not giving enough, or leaving out vital info.

lets hope whoever did the refurb did some mods as well , the reliability of the original seems very poor
This was posted here I think a couple of months ago.
I got one then to replace my existing flakey D-Link device that I'd had for years.

This thing works fine as a wired and wireless router. Belkin are a perfectly respectable manufacturer of network kit and it works fine with my newly delivered Android based phone so I can't imagine there'd be any problems with iPhones etc. It was delivered in an as new condition with new packaging etc

The only two grouses I've got with the thing are the aerial isn't detachable (so I can't move just the aerial to a slightly less cluttered location) and I wasted the best part of a day trying to get dd-wrt to install on the router (this is obviously not essential, I was playing and the router works just fine anyway.)

I hope that helps

That's ridiculous. WEP and WPA are standards, if you set them up correctly on both the router and the phone they will work. Nothing to do with the age of the router at all.

They do actually, I've got one like this at home and its worked with every single iPhone and iPod touch thats been connected to it.
Awful device - wireless CONSTANTLY dies on, forcing you to have to go to it, rip out the power cable and put it back in. Bad wireless module in this model. Worse thing Belkin ever made. Thankfully the new'ns are MUCH better. Good price for a wired 4 port router though.
What a load of crap spouted above!

Thanks Op, was looking to put wireless into my parent's house as cheaply as possible for visits; this proved to be perfect. Performance has been faultless so far, delivered in excellent condition and well packaged and with a good amount of features - including WPA and WPA2 and it works with iPhone. Many thanks to you Op.
had 2 of these ....excat same ...beware they are not that good poor single over 10 ft .now have 2 rather retro book ends..
