Great spot kramvic, hot.
Am I right in thinking this would work on a talktalk broadband with nothing else, i.e. it is an all in 1 solution, it's for a friend who had a seperate modem and a wireless router, and 1 of them has packed in.

Yes it will replace a dsl modem (one that is plugged into a BT style landline - not cable modem) and a wireless router. It is an 'all-in-one'

Brill price.
Worth it? yes Modem Router, dongle from established manufacturer.

Future proof no. Even current proof is no. Anything coming out these days will be using "n" standard with better speeds and stability. Getting this would be retrograde step for your network.

If you want to just get connected to the internet, great. Abstain from me.
Thats one cheap modem, the lack of support for "n" may be an issue for some, but g and b are plenty fast enough for a "normal" house. HEAT
The inlaw's have just had a BT line put in and virgin has has had problems delivering a broadband box, so have asked them to buy it themselves to save further hassle.

They have been told their line is activated and have received their login/password details.

Will this do the job without any further equipment ?
Thanks for the reply, ordered so fingers crossed.
