Is this better than the one posted here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tp-link-300mbps-universal-wifi-range-extender-tl-wa850re-white-15-free-c-c-tesco-2599233

Or is it just a case of them both doing the same thing whichever you buy?
Thanks.

Why would you need 5ghz, more interference, less range. Yes good for transferring bigger information quicker but has more cons than pros to it

Won't work in the bin. You need a mains power supply.

Had this for a few months now, never let me down

These need a reasonable signal as an input so don't make the mistake of putting them in the room they're needed but closer to the router so it can repeat a strong signal.

I have been using one of these for the past six months and works flawlessly. Not as fast as the original internet output by the receiver as expected, but still able to hit 60mb when placed in the hallway with one wall between me and the repeater and one between the repeater and this repeater. I don't understand all the negative feedback? Sure it's not as strong as some of my other extenders/repeaters, but for this price it is ideal and once set up is plug and play set up.

Where from?

These aren't great. The minute you close the door to the room they are in it starts flashing orange! Power line adapters are worth the extra £10 imo

This is a totally useless device. Waste of money.
