An item is ONLY "in stock" if it physically exists and can be found on the shelf to buy.

It is NOT "in stock" if the only evidence of its existence is a record in a computerised stock system, which is my past experience of several of PC World's "in stock" items.

Fingers crossed it's the former if this deal is of interest to you.

Yeah, as this person says it's a bit of a gamble. With the way the DSGi systems work, it is possible, due to user error, that stock of items (especially accessories) will show up on computers even though it isn't in store because the member of staff hasn't gone through the right proceedures when selling the accessory with the item.

Best example I can think of is when I had a glass TV stand (worth well over £250) that was showing 5 (!) on the system and we had absolutely none in the store, new or display.
