From the Manufacturer Experience fast wireless network connections at an affordable price with the Belkin N150 Enhanced Wireless Modem Router. Simply connect the N150 modem router to your broadband Internet connection, and in minutes you'll be sharing the connection with all your network computers at a speed of up to 150 Mbps and a range of up to 300 meters

N150 Technology Offers Hiccup-Free Streaming Media
The N150 router offers wireless transmission at up to 150 Mbps with a long-distance range of up to 300 meters, so you can roam throughout your house while still maintaining a connection. The fast performance and great range let you easily stream digital media, so you'll have access to music and videos anywhere in your home without worry of hiccups and long waits. For maximum reliability and performance, pair the N150 modem router with Belkin's Enhanced USB adapter.

Compatibility with 802.11b , 802.11g, and 802.11n
The N150 router supports the newest accessories and products that use the 802.11n protocol, but also works with older 802.11b and 802.11g products. When you upgrade to this new router, you won't have to throw out and replace your old legacy products; keep using them until you wish or need to upgrade to something faster.

Push-Button Security Keeps You Safe
Network security hasn't been any simpler, thanks to Wi-Fi Protected Setup; simply push a button and you'll be protected from snoopers trying to hack into your network. The router also supports 256-bit WPA/WPA2-Personal and 64-/128-bit WEP encryption. Additionally, the modem router has firewall capabilities including NAT (Network Address Translation) and SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection).

Four Ethernet Ports for Wired Connection
For computers without wireless connection, the N150 router has four 10/100 RJ45 jacks.

Smart Design Gives Status at a Glance
The attractive enclosure looks good on your desk and offers status information at a glance. Green LEDs light up to let you know if there is activity in: Security, Wireless, Wired, Router, Modem, and Internet.

The N150 router is simple to set up and uses an HTML browser-based interface that can be accessed with any browser. To use the Setup Assistant, you'll need either Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac OS 10.4/10.5.

Good price, for a bad router!

A while ago I needed a new router and chose this. When I plugged it in, my speed dropped a great deal, plugged the older router back in, and the speed shot straight up again.

I'm on Sky, can I replace the Sky modem/router with this? I'm sure I read somewhere that Sky don't like you using other modem routers?

You will be better off keeping the Sky router. Not because you have to, but because this is a bad choice.

Ive got this and its great for the one side of the house, it drops a bar or two on the other side as my house is old and my staircase is brick and steel.
Other than that ive never had a problem???

Mine came today. Installed in less than 10 mins including security. Definately faster than my old wireless router. Test will be when I try iPlayer on the PS3 through wireless. Pleased for the money.

So what was the result then? I am unsure to opt for this, or maybe a netgear-n 150. Looking for the best wireless distance I can acheive. Or somethink at a similar price

I've had one of these for a few months and initially it kept drpping its signal, I changed the channel I was on and since then I've had not one problems. Great piece of kit for the price and if your looking to upgrade from G to N just ensure your using a channel thats different to your neighbours.
