Bit of a bargain this I reckon.

£14.99 + P & P for a Pre-N (newer than 11b and 11g) Wireless Card.

This pack contains a PCMCIA card for a laptop, but also comes with an adaptor to turn it into a standard PCI slot card!

I have major problems with our wireless network at home - with drop outs etc - but this thing is rock solid.

Pre-N adds to the cover area (even with lower spec equipment at the other end), and this also has MIMO coverage improvement technology as well.

Its good, but the price is even better. Cheaper than 11b and 11g cards, this is like nearly half the price of a decent 11g card at PC World!

Its only just over a pound dearer at Amazon so not a fantastic bargain

Very true, and I moan like hell when people post none-bargains, so fair play.

Gutted I didn't spot it before I posted!

Oh and although it is just Pre-N... I believe Pre-N is now confirmed to work with final N spec isn't it?

What is that contraption? Looks like a torture device for laptop PCMIA cards :(

Just a PCMCIA --> PCI slot adaptor.

Although it has Belkin sticks on it - its actually a standard Rioch adaptor - so you could stick whatever you wanted in the slot.*

* - I'd recommend a 3G card for when BT screws up your line again :)

I see that Showman36 has now deleted his post, but the Amazon price is actually from one of their associates, so is subject to £4.50 carriage, bringing the total to £23.17... so your deal isn't so bad after all!

I believe the reason that these adapters have dropped in price is that belkin have anounced that they do not intend to release vista drivers-so no good for those of you wishing to use one of these on a vista system. But these are brilliant for anyone using XP or linux; the card is a mimo card so the range is excellent.

Also belkin have replaced pre-n with n1 which has better range and signal strength supposedly but in reviews it appears to be the other way around. :?

Its supported under Vista without the need for a driver I believe
